In Great Britain: --- Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: In north-western Scotland, somewhere near Inverness. Rather isolated. Accepts students from age 11-18. Britain's best secondary magical institution. --- Forsyth Primary School: Located very near Hogwarts. It is a small school accepting students from ages 5-11. It focuses on preparing students for Hogwarts schooling. Attendance is optional. --- Alwood University: Located in west Wales. Very isolated. Accepts students from age 18-26. An okay university. Very good for students with little money. Majors include: Education, Junior Healer, Politics, Philosophy (slack-off major) and Magical Artistry. --- The Dublin Academy of Elementary Sorcery: Located in Dublin, Ireland. Not entirely isolated but saturated with anti-muggle charms. Another primary school for secondary preperation. --- Stonehenge University: Hides in plain sight in the small town of Wilton, in Wiltshire, England. Accepts students aged 17 and older to further their magical learning. It is an exceptional school with a rigorous curriculum. ---Pennington Magical Primary: Located in Oracle Village. This school accepts student 3-11 and has a reputation for rigid rules and rigorous curriculum. In Europe: --- Beauxbatons Academy of Magic: Located in southern France. Pretty isolated. France's best known magical institution. Accepts students from ages 10-18. Structure is different from Hogwarts. --- Durmstrang Institute: Located in Bulgaria; likely in middle to southern Bulagaria as it's rumored to be located among mountains. Really isolated. Also very cold. Best known for teaching the Dark Arts. Accepts students age 11-18. Structure is different from Hogwarts. --- Phila Academy: Located in western Greece. Pretty isolated. Best known for an excellent divination and transfiguration program. Accepts students from age 10-18. --- Navyl School of Magical Arts: Located near Kiruna, Sweden. Protected with heavy anti-muggle charms. Very, very cold. Has an excellent charms program. Accepts students from age 8-18. In North America: --- Salem Witches Institute: Located near Salem, Massachusetts, USA. Accepts students from ages 11-18. --- Yukon Academy: Located somewhere in the northern Yukon area of Canada. Pretty cold. Accepts students from ages 11-18. --- Midwest School of Magical Arts Located just outside of Chicago, IL, USA on Lake Michigan. Accepts students in grades six through twelve. --- The Mexico School for Magical Learning: Located near Veracruz, Mexico. Accepts students from ages 10-18. In Asia: --- Angara Academy: Located in middle Russia along the Angara River. Emphasis on the dark arts and divination. Accepts students from ages 8-19. --- Hefai School of Sorcery: Located near Hefai, China. Emphasis on divination and charms. Accepts students from ages 5-19. --- Kisetsu Institute: Located in northern Japan. Focuses primarily on healing, divination and charms. Accepts students from ages 13-19. In Australia: --- School of Magic Down Under: Located near Sydney. Heavily protected with anti-muggle charms. No main focus, but has an excellent potions program. Accepts students from ages 5-18. In South America: --- The Amazonian Institution: Located near Manaus, Brazil. Focuses on magical animal care and defensive theories. Accepts from ages 13-17. --- Hawknihe Academy: Located near Buenos Aires, Argentina. No main focus. Accepts from ages 11-18. --- Kitpas School of Magic: Located near Caracas, Venezuela. Main focus is charms and potions. Also well known for an excellent care of magical creatures program. Accepts from ages 12-18. Post below to add some more schools!
