Hi all, my pro2 ph-1000's foam cover has started peeling off very badly. Does anyone know where I can get it repaired ?

I think your best bet might be to bring down to a headphone shop and try to see if theres a foam they sell that fits yours. If you are talking about the inside then I don't know. Might have to DIY. |

Hi, I think you have 2 solutions. 1. Change the foam pads wherever possible. 2. DIY - change the leatherette of the ear pad by yourself or by some experts in fabric. The second option is little interesting and requires experimentation and little knowledge of acoustics. =) I shall not elaborate because the rest is all exploration on your own. Have great fun! |

thanks all , bluetin don't have the replacement pads for Pro 2 headphones, going to check out challanger later but doubt they have one for Pro 2 as well. Someone in hardwarezone had the same Pro 2 headphones, and bascially he buys a new pair when the foams get "damaged" like mine. Obviously I can't afford to do that. Such a pity, the headphones are easily driven by mp3 players without amps and sound fanastic. ( to my ears ) comparing to my sennhesior HD202 and PX200. |
