We don't really discuss prices of headphones in the forum. But I do know that the HD595 is about that of the SR225. |

Hi alloyion, welcome to our forum! Since you are new, please take note that our forum rule states clearly that there should be no form of price discussion to be done here. Besides, these prices can easily be found online and they can be quite abit lower than local retail prices. If you are planning to purchase form overseas anyways, do check out headroom.com or any of the headfi sponsers. They have pretty much the best prices around(which are listed at their sites or by email), at the expense of warranty of course. Once again, welcome! We hope you enjoy your stay here :D. |

price doesn't matter. It's value that counts. There's an old saying, if you have to ask, you can't afford it meanwhile, if you really want to know prices, the other forum is a better place to visit. They seem to place more emphasis on how much something costs (or how cheaply something can be gotten for) rather than how good something sounds. Chris PS. Audio gear in Mal is scary-priced. I've been to the audiophile shops in KL. It's more worth it to take a bus down to s'pore and do your shopping (only for audiogear) |

i have to agree with yongchris, I brought one NAD 541 (new old stock) some years back to Penang, it costs me around SGD210, and when i checked out the price in the local audio shop, after discount is still more than RM1k . I wonder why the audio stuff so expensive there. |
