not sure if MylarThree is the one. But if it is, it will be like what i told Uncle Wilson. Mid-high bass bloated, lack bass and treble extension and details. Of cause, it still bang for bucks (good for in camp training)... But after hearing tf10p (excluding customs IEMs), every other earphones sound dull to me. I know it not a fair comparision as tf10p is so much more expensive. I'm just comparing on the sound aspects |

I have tried it yesterday and it definitely has the sound signature of ultimate ears. And it has huge bass for an iem but the upper portion of the bass is slightly bloated so it needs an amp to tighten up the bass. The vocals are nice and as mentioned above, there is a lack of treble extension. It is a good all-rounder and better than the mylarone. From what I see, this mystery iem when paired with an amp will be fantastic for the price and value it offers. |

Well if it din have the same driver problem as the formal MylarOne, then it is worth looking at. Wonder how's the sound characteristics of MylarTwo??

I do not think that theres a driver problem with the mylarones. As mentioned before, there are so many users out there without any problems with it and its the same group of people with problemsmost of the time. So it may be due to the way of usage. Quite a few people who experienced loss of sound from one side found that pushing the wire in resulted in the sound coming back. I would say its that the wire connection to the drivers(the soldering) was not very well done and thus its essential to be gentle while handling it

Well i do agree that wiring may be an issue but i had bee handling my previous mylarOne very gently and it still went dead on the left driver. There's another forumer who post previously that the mylarOne went dead after he took it out of the hard casing... strange... <_< |

I just ordered a set of Mylar 3's assuming that's the IEM's we're talking about. If they are as good as the lucky ones who tested them claim, they might replace my Super.fi EB's. I noticed after a week's holiday and listening to my HD650 every day that the bass of my EB is really a lot of bass. I may be looking for replacements...... |

sigh .. i wished Uncle Wilson didn't reveal the mayler3s so early. I keep thinking about the mayler3s ever since i heard it. was intending to buy the UE superfi3 in the 1st place and went to jaben to try it out. the fit for the superfi3 was not as comfortable as the mayler3s. BUT to me, the superfi3 had much better soundstage, mids and highs. the bass was lacking though. in terms of overall performance, taking into account, the comfort, price and sound. the mayler3s are still better then the UE superfi3, in my humble opinion. I hope the mayler3s are avaliable for sale next Friday. |

I think there isn't a need to say "I have preordered or sort of". It's not constructive at all. Just imagine everyone post "Me too. I just preordered 1 set too.. cant wait to get my hands on it.." Hope you guys understand |

Think we have to wait till the final product is out before anyone can make a comment on the build quality. The set that everyone is talking about is just the prototype, not the final product. |

Yes, the original TC20 and mylerone was fragile, but I wouldn't say the build quality is bad. What I don't understand is that it's mostly the same people who have problems, and these same people are the ones sending it back. I've had my TC20s for months and they have not failed on me. I treat them like I treat all my gear. with love and care. Maybe the reason why people handle the TC20 with such disrespect is because it's so cheap? I wonder if people treated them like UM2s or SFs or E500s, burning them in carefully, storing them in their pouches...etc, that they wouldn't be failing. Chris |

A noob question here. Is the crossroad brand started by Uncle Wilson, or is he just the main distributor in Singapore? Cause I didn't really check on crossroad stuffs until the recent mylar 3 hype. |
