There will be a universal pair of Sensaphonics 2X-S in Jaben today. Come down today to be among the first to try it out. P.S That pair is a demo unit and is not for sale, do remember that your mileage may vary because it is fitted with a triple flange and not custom made to suit your ear. |

NOOOOOOOOO. Anyway, I doubt there'll be mass market production at all. It's very much like the universal UE10 pro, more for demos rather than actually selling the universal top-of-the-line custom IEMs. |

I suppose it is something like the universal IEMs. Most of you guys must be there already, so do remember to post some impressions. Thanks a whole lot. |

I have tried it, and it sounds different from the actual custom pair, but you will roughly know what is the sound signature like. Go and poison yourselves my fellow brethren!

Well. Based on the demo set, i will say the sound is good for instrumental and classical music. It does not suit the pop sound where vocal is needed. But according to ryner, the mid for custom is there |

I'm sorry to disappoint every single soul out here. The universal demo set is very different from the customs. The highs are similar to the ver1's tamed highs sensation while the lows are somehow different, a little more boomy and spread out due to the vibrations caused in the enclosure. The customs have a signature of tight and linear bass which can go very deep. The mids is like hell and heaven. The mids of the customs is so sparkling and sufficiently full-bodied while the demo set has an overwhelming uncontrolled mids which turns out to perform better for rock and heavy songs. The mids has also somehow covered up the sparkling sensation of the highs. The customs will not perform well for pop and rock song lovers. The soundstage and separation is also a hell of a big difference. The custom wins in leaps and heaps. It is claimed that the sound signature can be brought nearer to the customs by pumping silicon to fill up the extra spaces within the demo unit. ** I'm stating in the shoes of a custom user(tried it before). |

When I had a listen to it, I thought the vocals was really good and mind you I was listening to rock. It is all a matter of different rigs. So far, everyone seems to have different views on it mainly because we were all using different equipment. |

yup. Actually, its best to have a single setup, say a PCDP and everyone will use their own CD to listen and give comments on it. |

I listened to it to and I felt that the highs was crystal clear while the vocals were warm but not as forwarding as i hoped it to be. To me, the bass wasn't boomy but not as deep as some other iems which i have heard it before. Yes its true that different people have different impressions of it because the rigs are all different. Ultimately, it depends on synergy between all the different components in the setup
