Surely you've heard of JBL themselves though, right? :o

The Reference 220 gets mentioned quite a bit on Head-Fi.

JBL is more of a car audio/speaker brand, right? It's recent forays into headphones is starting to attract some interest, but I don't see anything really special yet.

JBL has been in the speakers industry for quite a long time already. I don't think JBL specializes more into the car audio than home/computer and the speakers for the PA systems.

How about this: JBL is fitted on the SBS buses. (Did you get the idea from this?) :D
If impressing/being impressed is how it gets you around, forget it. It is not gonna happen.

What member?
Im not exactly into speakers setups, but talk about JBL and the "Creatures" comes to mind...I suppose someone would have to take the plunge and try them out for the benefit of all mankind here before we speculate any further ;).

Even if they are used in ICE / home setup, they are used more for SPL not SQ. But then if you're a basshead, you might wanna give it a try :)
