Hi superlight,

Welcome to our forums! Wow you sure have got a nice equipment there! I sure wish to have a corner like that, and if you are a newbie, I don't know what to consider myself  ...

I have got my replacement for my old DT880s from Jaben. The price for mine was quite considerably cheaper compared to some shops that sell them at SLS, but like what Ahdui said, if you want those for that particular model, do check up with them first.

Hey!

I got curious when you mentioned "felt", so I went to dig out my old replacements(I actually washed my old velours and put them back into the packaging as it felt "wasteful" to just throw the old pair away), and I found the the following label:

I got mine several months back and I'm pretty sure Wilson brought in spare pairs, so Jaben's the right place to go! :D.

thanks for the info Fongalv! pad is not 'felt' but 'velous' & seems like it's the same model as yours (EDT 990 V)
too bad jaben not open today ;)

Wah, you are very sharp  i use a diifferent nick here because I was sick of the old one over at the loft ;)
Most of my headphones gears are portable stuff for my daily commuting use. Just started a year ago and I'm sure i can pickup lots of tips/info here :)

:b2t:
Found that the cost of the replacement pads are about 25% of my old headphones ...now considering buying a new one :P

Ahh I see. I was probably "luckier" since mine were about 12% for my DT880s. Velour isn't cheap I guess, but if you like these headphones that much then why not? :D

If you are sourcing for a new closed pair of monitors, do check out the DT100/150 models if Jaben still has stock of them.
