I have problems with fit with the MylarOnes too. Med and biflanges go deeper in my left ear, resulting in an unbalanced sound, yet small don't give me a good seal. What to do? |

I don't think we should ask for prices on the forum boards, but it should cost less than a typical CD. |

Less than half a CD, even. Cloudiax: Customs for the MylarOnes?! Are you outta your mind? Haha... kidding! I'm not even considering customs for my um1. For me, its full customs or nothing. Unless the upcoming Westone 3 proves exceptional...:P |

So I must have given the MylarOne more than 200 hours of breaking in and this evening I gave it some sereious listening. When I first got the MylarOne, it was nice. The bass slammed and the highs extends well. However, it was like listening to a 2.1 satellite system. It could have been caused by that thump in the bass. In addition, the highs were slightly raw. Ok, it was overall sweet but not very polished. I listened to it off-and-on, actually more off than really on. And this evening when I plugged them into my ear, they sounded different. No it's not like another earphone. You can still recognise it's slightly bright and forward nature. However, the thump in the bass is now gone or in some tracks more controlled. At first I thought it was a seal problem but after several re-insertion and opening my jaw convinced me that the seal was good. The bass has definitely tightened. Now whether this is something good or not is really very personal. For me, it has rid of that 2.1 sound. There was very little or no change to the highs though. Someone has alluded that the MylarOne sounded like Grados. It certainly has that forward and bright nature. Compared to my MS-1, it trails in the PRaT department. But not by much. YMMV |

They certainly seem awesome, though I think I'll wait a few days before ordering a pair here to Sweden. I want to know what mylartwo and mylarthree can offer and what pricepoint they are at first. Hopefully they are even better and all the kinks are worked out. I guess we'll know in a few days. |

Its forum policy not to state any price ranges. Best bet would be to head on down there and ask for yourself. HpH people normally get better prices

Its price lies between that of a Sony earbud and an AKG k1000. Do call or visit uncle after he's back. He'll offer you a good price if you've been good. |
