Good news!!! The CrossRoads MylarOne Earphone has arrived @ Jaben this afternoon..... It has a stronger bass compared to TC20. Nice... It does not have the CrossRoads logo on the earphone, but rather the word CrossRoads on it. The packaging is the same as OVC TC20, except is red and black...oh, with English wording of course. ![]() ![]() Oh... the Bi-flange does not come with it... |

It looks more "professional" compare to ovc. I went to jaben last monday. First of all, a big thank you to Wilson for being so helpful. Allow me to take my time to try all the earphones. I was impressed with the OVC when i tested them. However, i'm still skeptical due to its QC issue. So i settled for um1. No regrets! I guess no harm try them. =p poisoned.... |

Went down today to get 2 sets, one for a friend. The bass is really nice when paired with an amp; deep and impactful. I could actually hear the bass guitar (at low-moderate volume) on Metallica's "...And Justice For All". If you know about the band's history, you'll understand why that's actually quite remarkable
Mids and treble are also very impressive, quite detailed. Met Ryner and some other guys while I was there at Jaben, hello All right, back to listening.

 I stop using my amp... I am using my X5L EQ, BBE and Mach3Bass. I prefer the sound of it compared to the amp. I do like the bass too, and the good things are, the mids and highs are still there.... which is what I like about the TC20. BBB, MTL.... Maybe getting 1 more pair  |

Are those ue bi-flanges? How well do they fit? Do they provide better isolation and SQ than the standard tips? |

Yeap... they are the UE Bi-flange. They fit well for me... in terms of isolation, it's good. The stock tips is slightly, only slightly better, but it somehow gives you a feeling that it sucks out the air inside your ear, making it feel a bit uncomfy. |

Wow, the red and blue colours for left and right makes it easier to insert the correct drivers to your ears. It also kinda makes it look a bit like the Er-4. |

I must say, credit must really be given to Jaben for taking the risk and bringing in so much new stuff for us to try(and buy of course). Most dealers would just stick to the same few "trusted" good ol' brands and hawk them like they are the best stuff around. Kudos to Wilson!

Any comments how the new crossroads can vs the TC20 UNAMPED?? i heard that the TC20 sound much better with additional amplification. Just hope the reliability of this new can is better than the problematic TC20. Regards Marc |

I've tried both the OVC and the Crossroads. I must say there is a significant improvement in bass. The bass is more powerfull than the OVC (mine is not burned in yet). The mid is a little sweeter than the OVC and the high is more revealing. All of the test is unamped. Overall, I like this more than the OVC. I must say the OVC is a bit "powerless" unamped. |

IMHO: super.fi 5 pro = 3 x (CrossRoads 2 + MylarOne Earphone) + SpareChange ...in every $en$e. This has to be the biggest thing in 2007

 Whatever it is...it can only be good news for all of us...not too sure about our wallets though First impresssions of the CrossRoads 2 amp: Overall presentation is a fuller / richer sound without sacrificing the highs. If anything the highs are very well extended. Just a loss of certain details that I couldn't put my finger on at the moment. YMMV |

Practical looks and better sound from the new MylarOne compared to the TC20. On simple songs they sound good, but I feel the channels are a tad congested. |
