i am struggling between a OVC TC20 + Xtra X-1, or just buy the shure E2c without amp. any bro here can give some advice for both? which is the wiser choice? thanks for all input |

Have you heard them both or are you buying based on what you have read? Between the two choices, I'd go for the TC20 and Xtra amp. The E2C is not that great. |

get 1st option, i heard from some 1 that the e2c bass sounds like caphalang( any 1 how beat). at least in the future, the amp still help u with other things. |

It is very light. Why don't you go down to Jaben and check it out. In fact, the TC20 unamped would still sound better than the E2c. |

I use the TC-20s for general listening unamped most of the time and I can safely say that I prefer the TC-20s over the E2c on any given day amped or unamped.
Just my 2 dollars worth. |

I had an E2C, the TC20 is in a much better league when compared to the E2C. The cable system for E2C was very bad. |
