Run for the hills! Dansdata has a review out on these 2 canal-phones!

Seriously, though, I enjoy reading Dan's reviews. Refreshingly candid with plenty of links peppered throughout that can take you to surprising places.

For the Lite 1 cables (mainly known as Version 1), its composition came from the Oxygen-free Copper. It had a short tube(soft plastic) in the area near the drivers to house and protect the memory wires. It is NOT teflon insulated throughout the entire cable.

The Lite 2 cables were revised from the Lite 1s. Composition was changed to Silver-Plated Copper for a faster and definite sound definition. In the physical aspects, the new Lite 2 cables were teflon wrapped entirely in the cables.

For more information, you might want to catch a read on my old review : http://z10.invisionfree.com/headphonehaven...p?showtopic=185
If impressing/being impressed is how it gets you around, forget it. It is not gonna happen.
