To purists, this device might scream as 'blasphemy' to you. But I'd gotten it the last SITEX for $88 (I think the retail is... $125?). Jabra BT325 http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/jab...dset-159660.php Before one half of my HJE50 died, I plugged in one of these to my 80GB iPodVid and let the music run. I'm no serious audiophile and don't own any high-end IEMs to actually hear the impact of this thing between my iPod and my ears, but this device is a lifesaver when my handphone rings when I'm in the middle of a sobby sentimental piece. Basically it simply mutes the music when a call comes in and plays a simple 3-toned alert in ur earpiece to alert u that a call is in. U just press the center button to answer the call and press it again to cease the call and the music just plays on. The call is being heard in both earphones and not just 1 side. P/S: This device don't actually pause the music literally, it simply fades out whilst ur MP3 player is still playing along so u'll have to pause it physically if u wanna carry on where u'd left off. My only grouse with this device is that the answering piece is pretty huge. Not the 'small black pill' like the ones Nokia used to have, but its like 5 times the size of the 'small black pill'. |

If impressing/being impressed is how it gets you around, forget it. It is not gonna happen. The world of audiophile and fine living is not an Olympics. Team "> Two Thousand Dollars Only" per Portable Audio Rig

As promised, some pictures of the Jabra BT325s.
![]() ![]() Basically, u just hit the center button to answer calls. If u guys want to test it out how much it will impact your IEMs or Cans and thinking of getting this, feel free to ask me. I did try it out earlier running it from a PA2V2 to my UM1s. There doesn't seem to be a noticeable drop in audio quality. But that's just me, I haven't really gotten used to UM1's sound signature yet (esp after 2 to 3yrs withthe HJE50) to notice any hits. But the highs, mids and bass dun seem to be hit with this piece of earpiece in between. |
