Haha, yes I noticed that. I realized my shipping and GST costs over 60SGD, which is quite a substantial amount. However, it is still cheaper than getting it locally. |

Hi, Shipping+Insurance=50SGD GST=20SGD (not confirmed) Yes, it amounts to over 60SGD which is not good But I don't mind as I also ordered the Rocky & Bullwinkle DVD... Guys, Have you got any idea where to get the er4p to er4s cable cheap? I want to make a DIY one... Have you heard of any such thing? Also, what about the Shure volume attenuator? I spent 6SGD on the dumb taxi fare to Sim Lim Square specifically to go to Huang Brothers (whats the correct name?? I forgot) and they did not have it in stock. Where can I get this and Shure slilcon buds?! Thanks! |

Shure grey flex tips works on ER4P, but I have the impression that the foams work better on them. |

Most agree that balanced amature drivers don't need burn in. Could always try my method if you don't mind, use an FM radio and keep it on for about 3 days in a row. Best way though, would be to burn it in while listening. |

With issues to Burning-In, some believe while some don't. Most of the people agree that armature drivers IEMs do not need burning-in, but they forgot the cable to the drivers.
You may use FM Radio. However I will tend to use bass-heavy tracks to burn-in a couple of hours after the 1st day on Burn-in track or FM Radio. The reason is because bass notes tend to draw more current to be audible. While this method is still a myth, just keep the IEMs running in with whichever that makes you happy.

If impressing/being impressed is how it gets you around, forget it. It is not gonna happen. The world of audiophile and fine living is not an Olympics. Team "> Two Thousand Dollars Only" per Portable Audio Rig

as regards the burning in of cables..always found this interesting http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/34579/127865.html I have an er4s, never found any difference in it's sound with more usage, even after i sent it in to ety for a change in drivers. But it could be my head telling me things. Audiophilia is full of crap sometimes...
