These have been talked about on headfi for a long time now. Apparently its a rather good dynamic canalphone with a fun and musical sound signature. Build quality is solid and the style and accessories lean towards the 'bling' factor. The company that makes them is in the dance club industry, hence the bling looks and fun sound. |

Looks decent. Should be within the performance range of the metro.fis (when they come out) and the CK7. USD101 is a tad bit expensive for a canalphone though. Looks good anyway. |

Or does the OVC T25 look like the V-moda Vibes? lol I've had a chance to test out the vibes and i must say it is certainly a worthy canal phone to be put against the cheaper amarture driven phones. However, they are very sensitive to changes in your rig. The amp thus plays a vital part. Din like it with the go-vibes though. The sound became thn and bassless(so to speak)... With the Xtra... then... oh my...

is it possible that you tested it with the go-vibe first ? like the OVCs, the Vibes seem to need a few songs to 'warm up' and let the bass shine through. Perhaps they had 'cooled down' from the last tester before I handed them to you ... |

Anyone knows where I can test the V-Moda?? With so much hype over at Head-Fi, I was curious to find out how good they really are. I saw them on sale at the Apple shop at Wheelock Place, and it was not cheap. What do Singaporeans think about the V-Moda Vibes or Bass Freq??? They certainly look very appealing to me. |

i THINK monkeygod has them? i THINK i auditioned your pair when i went to jaben some time ago. very nice sound and a warm pair of in-ears, kinda like it, and the asthetics just adds another layer of "cool" factor. they DO look good

yup. i own a pair - all shiny gold and good lookin'
i find them to be a very good pair of walk around earphones, replacing my UE 5 Pros. Don't get me wrong - the UE5's are definitely better ! And for more than twice the price they *ought* to be ... but the fight is a lot closer than you might think, and the Vibes have a couple of advantages i like, namely : 1. LESS isolation (so its safer to walk around with) 2. Smaller and lighter 3. better build quality (solid metal construction, small earbuds) as for sound - its pretty good. mylar drivers make the vibes quite a responsive set of buds, and vocal presentation is forward and engaging. bass is solid, but not overpowering. mid-mids are a little weak, and the high-highs aren't quite there, but overall a good balanced sound. do note that they don't amp that well (by which i mean there is little improvement to the sound with the addition of an amp). |

Too bad I have already gone for the DTX 50, if not I would have tried my luck with the V Moda Vibes. But still other than the Epicenter in Wheelock, are there any other shops that sell them? |

Interested to audition this IEM though. But not sure suits rock/metal genres or not, since my portable setup songs are of those genres. And most important the price of this pair locally. |
