...That's quite a downside. The upside is that this kind of performance usually requires speakers in the five-figure range, plus amplification to match. I love the UE-10 Pros, and I give them my highest recommendation.

Wow, 5 figure speakers for almost a fraction of the price, and in both ears too! Now that's a true portable audiophile grade speaker, wearable in both ears and are highly fashionable too!

Earns you bragging rights as well for those who know what it is. B)

Read this some time back.

Reading it again really tempts me. Sad thing is, I can't afford it. Neither do my ears growing constantly justify this custom IEM. If possible, I'd probably buy it in 10 years time. :P

My ear impressions for the UE10Pro has just been shipped this morning as I made my impressions on Tuesday night. :D

Now I'm trying to think of a simple yet cute artwork for it. :D
People call me things like nuts, crazy and insane, I just tell them I am very serious when it comes to my hobbies.

What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.

The most important thing in this hobby, sit down with a nice drink and enjoy the music. =]

UE10 cost more than $1400++ for those out there who wants to own the King of IEM..

no offence for those hardcore IEM users, i would rather prefer to spend them on RS1 and tops for a decent amp ;)

But it's hard to compare the prices between a headphone and IEM. Have to respect those people who managed to put all those drivers into an IEM. The technology behind is certainly worth the price. That is only if i am an Americans. Haha. The exchange rate really make me lose out alot. UE10 Pro is good to see, hard to own.

Sensitive issues? Is it the same everytime or keep changing? Cos the last update of the rules was today around 9plus. So i'm quite surprised at this.

you know, for a guy who started a thread questioning the admin/Team here, going around poking at rules, making remarks at dealers/members, you sure look like one heck of a trouble maker.

For someone this new here and already picking on the UE10Pro threads, I assume you would be a "potential" dealer who offers the UE10Pros? not that many dealers that we know of here...

Are we suprised? I would say NO.

I'm so sorry that you got it totally wrong. I'm not a dealer myself. Not interested in being one too. I will always go where the money is. Did not see much profits in this kind of job. My current vocation is still a student.

I can't even afford to buy a UE10 Pro now. How would i able to sell to others? Are you making a joke? Haha.

I do not like to question the admin team here as much as you think i like. Just that when i saw something is not right. Then i will voice out my doubts.

Well, if you still do not believe, then it's up to your own free will. What i want to achieve at the end of the day is that everyone will have a clear picture of what is going on. Instead of following blindly.

I guess that's my nature. I always believe in putting personal and business issue apart which i will do that in the future when i step into the working world.

Integrity is what i hope to see in this forum. Unless this is not one of the goals. To be fair, i was not given a chance to defend myself and my thread was locked. I did not even voice a word of protest.

Why am i not surprised too that some people will question me?

Arh I see...So you still havent taken the Red pill but already think you are NEO? Want to create some discourse? Since you are not a potential "dealer" I assume the thing that is "not right" now is that we only have "limited" dealers of which its not one which you support?

Ever wondered why not much others support your cause? Thats because the people here are just simply different. They do not see much point in arguing with people like you, of which you obviously just here to stir trouble? Why am I "trying" to argue with you then? I guess thats because its also my nature to "when i saw something is not right. Then i will voice out my doubts." Thats why I really took the Red pill, not just some wannabe.

If you do not favour the dealers here, Im sure there are greener pastures around, why bother to hang around in a forum where you think everyone "follow blindly" when its obvious that everyone here(less yourself of course) is happy with the way things are?

Speaking on my OWN behalf, I would like to make a famous forum quote:
If you are not happy then leave...

Making random posts and threads do not make it less clear to many of us what you clearly are. A trouble maker at most who is sore about the happennings here.

Sorry for the OT tho...

OMG, that’s one of the most blasphemous thing Ive ever heard on an online forum…where did you hear it from?!?
All members are welcome here no matter who they are or what their intention is, please refrain from saying something like that Morpheus.

I sincerely urge you guys to please chill it. This forum was meant for sharing joys, not arguing opinions.

JLM, if you have some valid and nagging issues with how this forum operates, I invite you to join the Team for a meal on ANY Friday. This is when interested members, the Admin, and also the mods meet up on a regular basis to share equipment, views, and also opinions. Ive had this special privilege of being invited on a few occasions and the discussions have been really fruitful and enlightening.

Since you said you’re a student, I gather you have much time on your hands now? Why not join us tonight? Meals on ME today) If I can get off work early that is) :D.

I do not mind meeting you all for dinner. But during these few weeks, i will be quite packed for the moment. Since you all are meeting every friday, then can i join like 19th Jan? Since dinner will be on you, i hope it is still valid by then. Thanks for your kind offer. I will accept that. :D

Wow…you guys meet everyweek?

I admit I might have been too uptight about this topic, but its quite irritating for me since I joined this forum to escape all those senseless arguments, and once I joined, these kind of things start here?

Whenever is this meeting can I invite myself over? I would like to meet some of the guys behind this forum, and of course Mr. JGM to get a clearer picture, whatever that is of about.

Hmm 19th Jan 2007? That is soo far away I wouldn’t be surprised if someone would be “too busy” by then since school has started?

Hi Morpheus,

I believe the Team does not have scheduled meets, and most of the time its just impromptu gatherings with lots of people turning up for one reason or another. Do remember all of us still have a life ok?

I would like to point out that JLM has indead PMed me to arrange this gathering, and as far as I can tell, he has been rather sincere(until he turns up that is). Of course you can join us if you want to, but please try to hold your guns until then and lets give each other thr benefit of the doubt.

I am sure myself, and the other members/Team would like to meet the both of you in person, even if just for a chat.

Bad move for just for an IEM! :P

I guess currently the UE10 pro is kinda like a luxury item for most IEM lovers. If only the price is like SGD900 instead! Oh well.......

the thing is, would you buy it if it actually was just SGD$900?

Oh well...you will never know if SomeonE might just be able to offer such cut-throat prices ;) ...

^ Considering that the E500 is about SGD800, why not? :P

Seriously though, the UE10 pro is still targeted at the pro-market, and I doubt UE is apologetic about the high prices, simply because this isn't targeted at the mass(audiophile)-market. The UE-customer relation for the UE10 pros is more of a one sided one, because UE hardly needs the audiophile community to support the product.

The UE5Cs and super fi. line, on the other hand...

Hi aaron, but considering you would need to make the customs with UE themselves, meaning having to send back to USA when theres a problem, it is similiar to getting the e500s online, which then makes it only <SGD$600?

i read in e head-fi and they sae this pairs are very neutral & analytical in terms of sound, thou i might be wrong

Let's round my view of the UE10 pros up:

- They're special, mainly because of fit and pricing.

- Problems with them are potentially troublesome, because you'll have to ship back to USA, and not get a replacement soon enough

- They are desirable, still. :P
