I believe you can get a better answer if you post this over @ SgH where there's this professional forummer who owns almost, if not all of the AT products. He should be able to give you insights on how it sounds. If not, you could always visit SE @ Causewat Point to try it out. Jaben carries some AT products too, but not too much, you might want to drop by there because he has the CK7 and CK6. CK7.. I've heard it briefly before and to me, it sounds thin but analytical (65% of the ER4P), accurate imaging and soundstaging is good, but I actually consider the ER4P to be quite musical (im my opinion) than the CK7.. the CK7 is very dry, bass is tight and goes deep too (I'd daresay 60% of the ER4 and my definition of bass = how deep it goes, NOT how boom it goes), but it's quite thin-sounding (not full) and lifeless to me Overall, a very good IEM/canalphone if you're starting to venture into this foray and your on the analytical and non-bass-slamming side.

no not at all. or rather sumthing 20% better than the iM716 HD mode. no joke. my OWN EARS heard it. its like a v2 of panasonic's HJE-70 another metal looking iem. which totally lacks of bass. |

so if i'm getting the ck7 to be a companion to my um2 and to match my new ipod shuffle, is it safe to say that it's a bad match? i'm using um2 with custom molds. and i absolutely love the sound. i haven't found time to go and try it yet. but just wanna get a general opinion from the pple who already tried/owned it. =) |

i have tried the ck6, ck7 and ck9... ck6 is very wield sounding... mid is very recess and lost quite alot of details there. bass is very bloated... i'll take ck7 anyday... btw, if you love E4, ck9 will be a good 1 to look at... it very warm sounding... |
