haha i don't mind the supposedly inferior packaging if that's what you mean. ideally, i'll want 100% of what i'm paying to go into the quality of the good itself. packaging is secondary. |

Sorry for late reply, cocobean.. Same thoughts here, I mean those boxes are junked away, unless Grado should give out free storing cases or bags so that our beloved headphones can be kept properly. However, no matter how intense our arguments may go, I'd doubt Grado will be listening to us as it's been their tradition since the Joe Grado days to use Pizza boxes.. Over and out, Topgun... -bzt!- |

The packaging does not really matter to me either. It makes Grados easier to ship and you probably pay less on the shipping cost since the volumetric weight of the box is considerably less compared to other brands of headphones. |

If they were to improve their packaging, prdouction costs will go up and consumers will have to bear that addtional burden. So i guess a pizza box isn't that bad. Just make sure there's no salami in it. |

Exactly what I think too. That is the one and only thing I'm unhappy about the E500. The expensive-looking, anodised aluminium/steel case that it comes with is really over the top. If they could cut out the surplus and sell at a cheaper price, my wallet would've been much happier. |

I don't mind the ugly packaging. The current pizza box serves the purpose. BTW, does MS Pro comes with better packaging? |
