Is anyone working on any writing projects?

Hope everyone's doing well. I'm posting this on the off chance one of our once-a-month returners happens to see it.

To get to the point: I want practice proofreading and editing other people's writing, and this seemed like an obvious place to check—this place exists specifically because so many of us were determined writers over a decade ago (that really conjures up some nostalgia). I know at least Roy has published a couple books, so I figure maybe some others among you are at least writing as a hobby. I'm most interested in fictional book/short story editing, but I'm currently open to other projects.

It doesn't have to be a very serious project, either. Even if it's something you're just working on for fun, I'd like to give you a hand with it.

Ultimately hoping to get a few samples and testimonials I can use in a portfolio for some freelance work I'm starting.

Feel free to contact me by email (tjfreemanmail@gmail.com). I've also been trying to get on Skype more, for those of you I've added there. And I'll be checking back here regularly.

I've been getting slightly more serious about writing visual novels, and I have a few ideas for a short one. Once I finally get a script made, I'll definitely drop it in your inbox! It'll be my first time writing seriously so it's not going to be very clean, but I gotta start somewhere. (And I'm always super lazy about the revision process so it'll be a big help for me lol)

Sounds great; I look forward to it! We're both beginners at doing this sort of thing seriously, so it seems like a good opportunity for both of us.
