Lol, maesck. Anyways, I call for FFX on overrated. And Virus, have you played FFVII? Underrated: Hotel Dusk: Room 215. I've never even seen a fansite for it! (Except Court Record's April Fool's Joke) |

Popular /=/ Awesome It's because it was such a popular game that it's overated. It was likely a good game but not worth the hype it's given nowadays. |

Eh, I guess that's true. The best Final Fantasy was FFIX anyway...wait. Underrated: FFIX. Vivi FTW. This game crawls in the shadow of FFVII's popularity. FFIX was better IMO. |

Just the entire Ogre Battle Series is stuck in FF's shadow! |

Isn't that series a strategy series though? |

It's more of a strategy/RPG/simulation hybrid, actually. I consider any medieval setting game that has swords, magic and stats to be an RPG. |

Yeah, but it's completely different from the FF series, besides the FFTs. |

Yeah, but here's the catch. They were made by Quest. That company no longer exists. It was bought out by SquareEnixk, who refuses to release any more Ogre Battles for quite some time BECAUSE the mastermind behind OB is the head producer of FFXII. He's stuck making FF games when he's stated in interviews he would like to go back to OB his own series of game with an unresolved story. And FFT enjoyed an unfair amount of success compared to what it was based of, TO. And because of FF's success, other RPGs or similiar games such as OB have a hard time being released. |

All the Tactics Ogre games I see are made by Atlus, the only other one I see is made by Enix, and that seems to be before SquareSoft collaborated with Enix to make SquareEnix. |

Snap, Quest on helped make OB64 Maybe it was Atlus, actually. I dunno, but the rest of my points still stand. |

Why doesn't he quit? He can recreate his own company and make his OB games as much as he wants. It's his choice to stay with Square. |

Kijo is correct. He dosen't have enough money. The OB games weren't popular (even less so here than in Japan) so he didn't get too much money out of sales. If he had the money, he would, I'm sure. |
