That's all you have to say? Anything relevant to the actual discussion.

FFT would not exist if not for TO: LuCT!

Er...relating to the subject at hand...hmm...

I've never played TO. And I'm probably too lazy to buy it. I might. Maybe. Sounds interesting.

Yeah. Most people say "FFT revolutionized the genre." NO IT DIDN'T!

Because of the Ogre Battle Saga's obscurity, TO was never very popular. FFT was a success simply because it was FF. This always annoyed me. I've played some FF games and just flat out didn't enjoy them. Ogre Battle is a fantastic series and gets no recongnition.

I've played 3 of 4 Ogre Battle games and enjoyed them all immensely.

I'm still hunting for the 4th game - the original.

Also in TO games, you start each battle with ZERO MP and gain 10 each turn. You can get instant MP through certian items but it's not like FFT when you summon-rush on turn 1.

Well, since there are so many FF games they all vary in terms of how good they are. I think I prefer the earlier games (got most of them for GBA) and FFT. I also haven't enjoyed any PS/PS2 FFs except for FFX.
