What do you mean? The whole point of our religion is that he existed. We know he existed and believe that he performed miracles. That is why we believe God exists. Because we can see that there might be something behind everything.

And why do you believe that we have no reason? What is the point of living if there is nothing to accomplish?

There isn't one, in my belief, as I already said. As the saying goes, 'life sucks, then you die'. I can hardly think of a saying more true. Why do we have to have one? Why don't you answer that? What makes humans so significant? We are nothing when you consider the size of the universe, why should we matter at all? That's not to say one can't try to live their life to the fullest, but in the end, we die anyway.

And that something has to be God? No, it doesn't. Science will likely, with time, be able to explain everything in the world around us.

And yes, I believe our purpose to life is just to site there and live. You have a problem with that?

You just contridicted yourself. You said we have nothing to live for, and that's our purpose.

And how will science explain it? Because God gave them the knowledge to.

Well, perhaps I used the wrong term, my belief that we have no real purpose holds true.

Let's see here, did God give Newton knowledge? What about Huygens? Fermi? Euclid? Einstein? No, they got their knowledge from their own observation of nature. God giving anyone anything is a load of bull, we get things because we work for them, they are there without God's interference, they were created without God's interference, and we receive them without God's interference. So don't go spewing that out, maybe that's what you believe, but it's not necessarily true, and you shouldn't state it as such.

Show me an example of creating without God interfering. Be specific.

Define 'creating', you can't create matter, you can only change it.

OK, by 'they', let's suppose I meant money. You get money by working for it and receiving it from someone. The money is made from metal or pulp from trees in a factory, NOT by God. Tell me where God plays a role in that.

Simple. God creates the trees/where metal is mined.

God didn't create the trees, they were created from seeds, don't be stupid. The mine was created probably after years of erosion and such, leading to the rock formation.

God created the seeds. And what created the seeds? Other trees. Now it brings us to the age old question, except in a different form. Which came first, the tree or the seed? And what created the rocks which were eroded?

They are the result of years of matter transformations and the like. God doesn't need to come into play at all here, perhaps the materials have just always existed? Why does God need to be involved in any of this?

Who/what made the matter transformations happen?

They are natural occurences. Ice melts when it is left in heat, does God play any role in this? I don't think so.
