Soul Calibur 2:
Best: Talim (Why did they change her moveset?)
Worst: Astaroth (Slow = Crap)

Soul Calibur 3:
Best: Tira (What an adorable little psychopath!)
Worst: Astaroth

ha you see astaroth as the worst character? you don't want to play me when i have his soul edge on vs special. i know his fast powerful moves that would leave you in awe.

the best is siegfried hands down. i won the SC3 tournament with him. everyone fell to his blade, my friends tried entering that tournament but stopped once they saw i was in it.

I didn't say Astaroth was the worst. I said that out of all the characters he performs the worst for me, largely due to the speed factor.

My best characters in Soul Calibur (I only have II) are:

Talim: Fast and easy to use
Cassandra: Has good power.

More recently I've started using Seung Mina more. She has a good range with her weapon and plenty of cool spinny attacks (not very technical) that are easy to pull off.

As for characters I don't use, Voldo. I know he's supposed to be good, I've just never liked using him.

My good characters
Astroth, awesome power
Taki, amazing speed
Link, really good
Mitsurughi (spelt his name wrong but you know who he is) well balanced and pretty cool

I sucked with Ivy, I think Cervantes is awesome, but I suck with him.

My friend cheated with Rapheal

RAphael hits high and low, so my strategy doesn't work against him.

The cheapest character overall is Necrid from Soul Calibur II.

I'm here. I posted a while ago in this topic.

Meh, anyway. I beat all my guy friends in a no holds barred elimination match today. (We hold them every now and then, as like a contest to see who owns the most)

I used Seung Mina and flattened everyone. I'm going to try and master her more.

Oh sorry, Serra I didn't see your post.

Seung Mina is tough to use properly. The range is great but you're screwed if the opponent gets in real close.

Best thing to do if they get in close is block and use low/sweeping kicks. I find that works for me.
