Today (12 November) is Remembrance Sunday in the UK (I don't know if you have it where you live). It's the day people join in rememberance of soldiers who fought in the wars, past and present, remember the dead and respect the veterans. And never mind any politics or crap today. Politicians suck. So, add anything you like. |

It's simply called Rememberance Day in Canada(I don't know about the states), and it's always on November 11. It's really the same thing though. |

We have Remembrance day on the 11th and Remembrance Sunday on the Sunday nearest to the 11th. I don't know why though, but it's a national thing. |

11th of November is the anniversary of the day the contract to end the First World War was signed, and Sunday is a holiday day (because the UK is predominantly a Christian country) so they hold remembrance ceremonies that day. I think that's it, anyway. |

Yep. Veteran's Day on Friday. |
![]() Long live Virus Day! I can scientifically prove that boredom can kill you. However, by the time I figure out how to prove it, I'd have already died of boredom.
