Sounds like a BED HOPPING Title... but who could this title pertain to? Unless its Coop & Charlotte? Or it has NOTHING to do with what it seems? It probably means the switch of partners at the Practices... Charlotte now with Addy and Pete with Nai & Sheldon. Will Sheldon allow Pete his space? Or will he be watching Pete's every move? Switch in Partners... lets see what the BUSINESSES will be like now. How is Coop going to like having a SUGAR MOMMA pay his way? Will this cause trouble? Or will Coop finally realize he needs to take the help of the people who love him and we all know Charlotte does. So... last week we get to see Violet finally unload a little... will this help her or further her away? Will she finally let Coop help her heal? I am hoping so. Will Dell have another daughter crisis... as he learns what it is like being a loving father? I wonder what kind of surgery/patients will we have tonight? Will Addy ROCK? Will Sam keep operating? Without letting any spoilers out... I shall see you all LATER so we can discuss. Bring it On ShondaLand... bring it on!! Edited by McDreaming, Oct 29 2009, 09:37 PM.

I hope this is the end to the Violet crap and we can get on with the show. I really can't stand her. Pete is a jerk. The only thing I liked was the Addie/Sam and Addie/Naomi scenes. The Charlotte stuff was good. |

Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to seeing how Charlotte works with her patients in her new speciality. I also hope that we will begin to see Violet heal and move the focus of the show to some of the other characters. |

I did watch it... but I was a bit sleepy... so I want to re-watch it and then I will review it... but overall what I remember... Violet came face to face with her demons (Katie) and in the end... she finally realized she was not the only one hurt by Katie. Poor Pete wanted Violet to give Katie what she deserved... but Violet ends up being professional about it all and she does what is right. I remember Coop & Charlotte were HILARIOUS... they are soo meant for each other... every week I expect something even funnier from them... and so far... I have not been disappointed. I will give my full review tomorrow. |

I have actually enjoyed the Violet storyline. I think AB has really put her heart into playing the part. She's so broken, and then she goes pretending she's fine by coming back to work. The scenes with her and Katie were good and even though I could see why Pete wanted her to pay for what she did, I do think Violet did the right thing in the end by telling the truth. It actually got me feeling sorry for Katie, cuz with her illness, she truly couldn't help doing what she did, and it made me stop and think... it would be utter hell to know that you were capable of doing such a monstrous thing to another person. Charlotte coming to the practice is guna be interesting. I love her character. She's got so many sides to her. The baby-swap story was pretty heart-wrenching. I can't imagine being in that position. I wonder if the other mum will come back. I hope Pete/Violet can move forward now that they've spoken about things... they could be such a good family unit if only they could start to heal. I miss Naomi in her old place.. I wish she had never left, but at least she's only downstairs and we still get to see her. |

http://www.tvfanatic.com/2009/10/private-practice-review-strange-bedfellows/ Private Practice Review: "Strange Bedfellows" Posted on October 30th, 2009 9:47 AM by Dr. Shepherd Katie Kent is back. And she is on trial. That, of course, is Violet's insane baby-snatcher and C-section performer from the Season 2 finale of Private Practice. And Violet, of course, cannot bring herself to testify. She's not ready to relive it, but then Katie herself asks Violet to testify (she thinks this will prove she is crazy and get her the help she needs, rather than a prison term). Violet plunges into a crisis of conscience. Who will testify at the trial, if she does so at all - Violet the victim or Dr. Turner the medical expert? Whose opinion should count? This is the theme of last night's "Strange Bedfellows." This was inevitable and a bit too drawn out, but what was more compelling was the affect on Pete as well. He wants Katie to be sent away and do time for what she did. It's not happening. Violet tells the court that, in her expert opinion, Katie was temporarily insane. Pete is not pleased, and that is when Violet realizes he is a victim too. Pete has been saddled with the burden of losing the woman he loves, as well as having to care for baby Lucas. She apologizes. He says she owes no apologies, but ... ... please come home. Typical cheesy Private Practice. But you gotta admit, you want her to come back to him, don't you? If not, check yourself for a pulse, people! Elsewhere, Charlotte is trying to get Sam to sign off on her joining the practice. He eventually does. Sweet, right? Not for Cooper when he learns her new specialty. That would be "sexology." If you think that makes her sound like a hooker, that's exactly what Cooper said. Charlotte wasn't too thrilled. He got drunk. It got worse. Even though it is a bit cliched that Cooper is so insecure about the specialty, we love these two together, and liked the way it was resolved. Strong women are cool. Lastly, Addison and Naomi deal with the swapped unborn babies from last season's finale, one of whom has a tumor that will kill it without (equally risky) surgery. The women have grown close, though, so the surgery happens. It fails. The other one runs away with the baby still inside her. We smell a return around March. |
