With a title like "The way we were" kind of leads me to believe that things will not be ok... and there might be some feelings of wishing they could turn back the time and go back. I guess we shall see... So... tonight is the night we get to see where they left off last week. Violet is holding her lil one in her arms surrounded by all her friends and loved ones. I do not know about you... but I want to know what happens to the crazy Katie? What does Dell do about being a new father? Where does Naomi's new job leave her? Will Coop and Charlotte work out their struggles? Are we going to see an independent Addy or will they bring her a new love? So what is up for Private Practice tonight? I hope it will be filled with some bright and shiny moments... I know we will have some sad ones... dealing with Violet's reaction to her abduction. Will she be ok? Or will she need help? I am looking forward to seeing this episode tonight. I hope to see you all here later... or if not... then tomorrow. |

the title seems like deja vous to one of grey's show's title, but wil have to check on it later on that. i'll have to say Violet's storyline is keeping the show alive, what happened with Addi? where is her storyline??? So Violet has a big problem, and she as a psychologist recognized it but as herself she's not dealing with the emotions, and in the end she realize she's doing more harm than good if she's having the baby. and pete and her relationship at a standstill while she's working this all out. I think it was too soon to have them have a relationship then in a second she goes through this ordeal that changes everything about her. i don't like how they did that. And where is she going???? she did a big move with giving the baby to pete. I like how she talked to charlotte when charlotte doesn't like violet that much. it really opened violet up. And sheldon, i don't like him at all! yet I can see he wants to know the truth. and pete and sheldon although they dislike each other, they both want to help violet, that's cute. next epi looks cute with bailey on it Edited by merderfan4life, Oct 9 2009, 03:20 PM.

Gosh... it was a good epi... but not as GREAT as last week in my opinion. A few things that I was dreading happened. Poor Violet she is in a bad state of mind right now... which is to be expected. She is going to need to seek help. They show us that Pete is there living with her and helping Violet. He has taken a month off of work and its time for him to go back. You can see Violet kind of gets anxious(fearful) to be left alone with the baby. She is hiding in her closet whenever the doorbell rings. She is a regular hermit. We see that the Practice is suffering... they are talking about hiring a new doctor. Addi, Coop & Sam are talking and all of them are in denial of their life situations. Addi is dealing with her making the right decision about Noah... and Sam about Naomi and Coop about his guilt over Violet. In this episode... Charlotte was the ROCKSTAR in my eyes. Her and Coop are still struggling... but she tells Coop she is doing her job... the job that she has left... and she tells Coop he needs to face Violet. Its not his fault. Then when she goes to collect his clothes... OMG... loved her bluntness with Violet... and she always seems to find a way to get people attention just being her... She asks Violet if she is breast feeding... first Violet gets defensive cuz she is soo tired of everyone saying she has a problem. Then Charlotte says "Do you want a martini"... OMG... I just laughed. Then when Coop shows up... she leaves. She lets him be... and knows she will see him later. She encourages Coop by saying she is in the kitchen. Violet and Coop... Ok... poor Coop... guilt is horrible... but in a weird way even though he is saying he is sorry... its kind of like Violet still felt he should have been there... I know its just her shock of what has happened... and its too soon for Violet to really state her feelings cuz she has yet dealt with it all. But my heart just felt tugged... when she pulled away when Coop tried to hug her... Poor thing... Coop did realize she does not want to be touched... (But in my mind I was thinking... she let Pete touch her when she was laying on the bed?) Violet is going to need to get help... and something make me think maybe Sheldon might be the one to give her advice? As much as I do not like him... I think he could help fix her... like Pete said he could not. Back tracking a bit... Sheldon and Pete talk... Sheldon gives Pete some really good advice... to let Violet get out of the house... do not always be there... she knows you are... and takes it for granted.. which is not helping her. So Pete goes and tells Violet he is going home. He can not fix her. This freaks Violet out... but yet this was what helped get her outside the house. Violet ends up going to Pete's... and says that he may hate her over this but she is not ready to be a Mom and she knows she wants to be... but she knows that being a good Mom is to give the baby to Pete. Now Pete is dumbfounded... he cannot believe she just did that. Addi and Naomi bump into each other throughout the show... and ask Addi how the Practice is and about Noah... and Addi tells her there are things she can not talk to her about. Then they bump into each other again and Addi comments on her shoes... the last time they bump into each other... its just soo awkward that Naomi comments about it and Addi is just frustrated she tells her "Again I like your shoes." Sam and Addi had talked about how it is just soo different now with Naomi. I am sure its because they BOTH feel betrayed and abandoned. No Dell... he was not in the episode. I guess he is being a good father and taking care of his lil girl. It was good... but yet it seemed like it was missing something... I knew Violet was going to have problems... and I feared it would turn this way... I feel soo bad for her. The only enlightening thing was Charlotte and "Do you want a Martini?" Oh well... till next week... Let's see if we get some ACTION that has a bright and shiny moment! Edited by McDreaming, Oct 9 2009, 03:51 PM.

It was just ok for me. I really loved the Addie/Sam bonding moments. Plus the Addie/Sam/Cooper moments. I hate that Addie/Nae are still awkward, but I loved that they went to see Violet together. Baby time was cute! The case was alright. I really like Kellie Martin. I am happy they didn't forget Noah. I know he is on another show, but I hate it when the writers forget Addie storylines (like her fertility issues). I am also happy they remember he works in the same hospital. So Addison hearing the page was nice. Doing the right thing really does suck sometimes. I just don't care about the Violet/Pete/baby drama. I am tired of it. It was bad enough they went the "who's the daddy" route, then they took a turn for totally crazy with the baby stealing, and now Violet doesn't want the baby. Just enough already! I do like Sheldon. Pete is a jerk. You do not know if you are even the father. Stop being a jerk to Sheldon. The only one I like in the Violet/Pete/Sheldon mess. Is Sheldon. Edited by AddisonLove, Oct 9 2009, 05:24 PM.

I didnt really like it at all and i dunno why! It just didnt feel like there was a flow to the episode.....i just felt blegh after it! |

Wow....well that was um......not as earth shattering as last weeks but I didn't expect to be because I knew with that kind of eruption it was not going to be pretty when the pieces fell. Violet is stripped. When she had her morbid c-section it took something that I only hope she gets back.... Na and Addie pulled together for Vi but are falling apart.....I think Noah broke Addie and Na broke Sam......and the whole practice right now is broken...... But I am thinking this is after all Shonda's show and last year most things were together....most not all.....so something had to give this season....so I think she is going to do to it what she did to Grey's...she is going to shred it and rebuild.........I only hope this rebuild goes better than her attempt at Grey's...... |

I didn't hate it, but it seemed to be just an episode to set up the rest of the season. The awarkdness between Na and both Addison & Sam, Violet & Cooper and Pete. The only part I really loved was Violet and Charlotte, I think they are building a good friendship. |

Yep... their blunt friendship... is soo hilarious... I mean Charlotte has this way of shocking you when she talks to Violet and Violet always gets soo defensive around her. I love that no matter what though... in the end Charlotte tends to help Violet rather than hurt her feelings. It's a very admiring friendship. |
