When I watched this last night. It ended up being a good episode. I thought it was funny when Cristina was in peds because of the merger. My favorite part of the episode was in the very end, when Meredith, Derek, Cristina, Owen, Lexie, and Mark were playing baseball. I thought it was sad that Nurse Olivia and Now Resident Megan got let go among others. |

I loved it yes it was better than last week and i was smiling for the best part except for the baby that was sad! But i loved Cristina in peds hilarious and mr bear ha ha she really isnt cut out to be there! I love Alex and his protectiveness and looking after Izzie he is too cute! I also liked: . Der standing up to the Chief he was being a coward and hiding out . Lexie in the cafeteria telling Cristina she was pretty and how her and Mer had started to get on well . Mark and Lexie cuteness!! . Bailey telling the guy about her and her son so sweet! . Arizona and Callie making their relationship official . Mer and Der in the stairwell ahhhh the season 1 days again hee hee . Der comforting everyone who got let go...gonna make a great chief someday me thinks . Finally the baseball scene even though it was short i loved the interaction between everyone and how they eventually managed to forget about the hospital for a while All in all i was happy and after seeing the promo for next weeks episode i am very excited to see what happens between Mer, Lexie and Thatcher......bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I am tired... But I liked this episode about a million more times than the fiasco last weeks was. The Private Practice Opener blew away what Grey's had 2 complete hours to do in one single hour....it was amazing...ANYWAY.... Olivia is gone. I thought that sucked....but I get it... I honestly hope we don't lose any more of our people.... I mean I get bringing in new ones (ok I really don't get bringing in a full load of them) but I don't want to lose anyone else... I love Mark and Lexie... I love that Az is Callie's girlfriend.... I loved that Yang bombed with Mr. Bear.... I loved baseball.... Baseball was too short but it was sweet and it was in a sense a reuniting of them all in some ways and that made me feel like I was watching the right show again..... I honestly hate KH but you know... I want her and Alex to work.. So I am hoping for that.... George gave her away... I don't know.... That wedding was perfect... And I don't expect them to be... But I expect them to try...... Edited by Gracie, Oct 4 2009, 08:41 AM.

I sure hope they have more baseball coming up... cuz its those moments I look forward to... the moments that they all share outside of the hospital. Where they are all united in friendship. I loved it!!! |

Someone's Opinion: http://poptimal.com/2009/10/greys-anatomy-dr-evil/ Grey’s Anatomy: Dr. Evil? October 6, 2009 by Tanya Lane Grey’s is a great show, but I’m beginning to be annoyed by several characters. Everyone always spazzes out, and with Seattle Grace facing a merger and the residents fearing unemployment, the anxiety is at an all-time high. Izzie is back in the mix, sporting a new wig while she recovers from Cancer. Cristina is aligning herself with Arizona, feigning interest in pediatric medicine in the hopes of keeping her job because “no one likes a dead kid.” Lexie is charged with minding a schizophrenic patient and his mother, both of whom need surgery. Derek and the Chief continue to clash as job security is everyone’s concern. Alex and Izzie have an intense, emotional relationship, heightened by her recent near-death experience. She is rushing back to work, but keeping her job is obviously more important than making sure she doesn’t jeopardize patients’ lives. I know I wouldn’t want to be operated on by a doctor who could keel over at any moment. Izzie had to actually step out of surgery because she was feeling faint. It’s sweet that Alex was there to give her medicine, feed her a banana and give her water – but maybe she ought not to be performing surgery in her condition.grey'sanatomy1 George was one of the few doctors who truly cared for his patients, but most of the other residents are self-absorbed egomaniacs. I think they care about patients to the extent that their well-being is a reflection of the excellent medical care the resident was able to provide, and that’s it. Cristina is probably the worst offender. She’s a brilliant doctor, but I’ve rarely seen any compassion. She doesn’t give a damn about saving little kids; she just wants to save her job. The more experienced staff like Bailey, Owen, and Derek (who is also a little egotistical) seem to genuinely care about their patients. Cristina could learn a thing or two from them, or from some of the patients at Seattle Grace. Case in point: the schizophrenic and his mother. She has devoted her life to caring for her adult son, and is willing to sacrifice her own health to make sure he receives adequate care and attention. I hope the writers allow Cristina to evolve into a more compassionate doctor and friend. Her relationship with Owen is the ideal opportunity for growth, as he’ll need her as he continues to work through the post-traumatic stress he suffered as a result of his time in Iraq. Likability goes a long way, and Cristina is getting on my nerves. I know they can’t all be sweet, but a doctor who doesn’t seem to care about people? I’d rather be sick than deal with that.
