You hear the commentator say ABC Thursday Miracles come with a price" and you see them wheeling in a patient. You see a lil boy being comforted... Then the father is telling Arizona "Buy our son 2 more months so that we can buy him a cure" while the Chief is looking on. The commentator says "Some are worth risking everything" and you see Owen yelling at Cristina "Cristina put down that scapel" and yous see Cristina cutting into the patient. Then you hear the commentator say ABC Grey's Anatomy All New Thursday at 9/8 central. |

This week on Grey’s Anatomy, “Invest in Love” has Arizona struggling with a conflict of interest, Cristina testing Owen’s boundaries and Alex has Izzie’s medical bills to deal with. Drama! Also, I’m guessing Meredith will complain about something and the chief will be stressed out, if he happens to be around. Who’s the whacky patient in this episode? ABC gave us no mention of a doll-head swallowing weirdo or a penis-fish victim, so I’m going to throw in my own idea for the weird-medical-condition of the week. The vampire patient. Because even if it’s after Halloween, vamps are still in right now, right? Ok, so here’s my concept and to Shonda, go ahead and steal this one if you’re short on ideas: Girl is brought into hospital in need of a blood transfusion and some stitches in her neck. This is followed up by the arrival of her Edward-Cullen-wannabe boyfriend who stands by his dying love’s side and promptly barfs up a stomach full of blood. Too gory? Think about it and tell me if you honestly think Grey’s would be above such a story arc? |

Oh, Izzie, we love you, but this freeze-out business is getting old. As you can see for yourself in the Grey's Anatomy sneak peek above, Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) has not only abandoned her husband, Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), but she's left him with all the medical bills for her cancer treatments. (If only the public option were already in place!) Will anyone even be able to tolerate Izzie when she finally comes back into town? Plus, the lovely Arizona Roberts (Jessica Capshaw) gets the spotlight this week when a pediatric patient in peril leads hospital administrators to cast a suspicious eye on her medical skills... The first sneak is of the Chief giving Alex the unpaid Izzie bills... he can not believe it. The second one is with Owen and Callie... and Owen is asking if she has seen Cristina. Owen is trying to ignore her. Then it shows Cristina walking by Owen ignoring him... and then it goes to Arizona talking about the new patient. She gives her talk about how she runs PEd's... Children believe in MIRACLES. The third one is about Arizona and the patients parents. They want to talk to the Chief, Board & Doctor about their child. And this is where the parents discuss the 25 million donation. They call it a gift. The fourth one is when Arizona confronts the father about their son. Arizona says she can do surgery but should she? That he is not strong enough... that they need to prepare themselves. He yells at her to buy their son more time. |

Oh... the lady said Happy Birthday Arizona... I completely missed that cuz its running ragged for me. I wonder if its her real one... or just a statement??? I do believe the Party is in her honor and I bet that is why she gets sad and we see Callie and Arizona talking cuz they are celebrating money from someone they were not able to save his life? I am just assuming here... |

The sneak with the Chief and Alex... I was checking it out again on youtube and you see Reed in the background watching Alex while he is flipping through all the bills that Izzie left behind. It sure looks like Reed may have a really soft side. |

Nothing major, just a little info about the scenes that will be going on while a song is playing on the show on Thursday: Tune in to Grey's Anatomy on ABC this Thursday (11/05/09) for some more Chased By Flying Monkey music! Listen for Faded Paper Figures' "North by North" when Callie apologizes and Arizona goes home. Also, Jackson is drinking to try and get the nerve up to say something to a woman. Lexie is bummed Arizona didn't like the party. i wonder if this will happen at the end of the episode? found it over at TWOP |
