Knight has split from his boyfriend of almost two years. The 36-year-old actor is blaming his hectic schedule for the unfortunate breakup from Mark Cornelsen. A close friend of the actor revealed the news to In Touch Weekly, saying his relationship with Cornelsen came to a "natural end" and there are no hard feelings. The source added that the two still care about each other and although 36-year-old Knight asked his 20-year-old ex to move out of their shared apartment, it doesn't mean he has given up hope for a family in the future. Knight is currently focusing on his role in the musical "Parade" at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. He will play Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager accused of raping and murdering a thirteen-year-old employee. The musical opens on October 24, but started the previews September 24. |

well if the rumors were right about him wanting him off GREY'S... then I am glad its over... I mean... TR needs to do what he wants and feels is good for his professional life... I have a feeling TR might have gotten a bit upset with being told what to do... if the RUMORS were right... but who knows... RUMORS ARE RUMORS... probably all trash talk. They were cute together... I agree... LINDA... TEGS... your MAN is FREE... or is he? Cuz this could all be trash talk.. DRAMA DRAMA... and of course I would fall for it all... hee hee As long as TR is alright... then I am happy for him. |

it was only a RUMOR... they were saying his BF wanted him to do other things... but I am sure it was false... and just a rumor... I am sure TR was just ready to move forward.... but for a while I was blaming it all on the BF... cuz it was easier to do then to get mad at baby face TR who is soo cute and lovable... |

When exactly things fell apart is unclear because… Cornelsen was with Knight just two weeks ago at the opening of Parade, a stage musical starring the former Grey's Anatomy star. It's Knight's first project since leaving the ABC prime-time medical drama. We spotted Cornelsen, who is 16 years younger than the 36-year-old Knight, attending the show with another Grey's alum, Melissa George. Knight's romantic future isn't the only thing now up in the air for the actor. He was scheduled to star on Broadway next year in a revival of Lend Me a Tenor, but a source says those plans could be put on hold because Parade may be moving to Broadway.
