http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b152318_greys_anatomy_tonights_cristina-jackson.html?sid=twitterfeed_topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=twitterfeed&utm_campaign=twitterfeed_topstories Grey's Anatomy: Tonight's Cristina-Jackson Hookup Is "Hot" and May Not Be Over Yet... Today 1:18 PM PST by Jennifer Godwin ABC/RANDY HOLMES Sorry, Cristina-Owen fans, but tonight's scandalous sweeps episode of Grey's Anatomy is going to be a little rough on you. As the Canadian promo for tonight's episode teases, Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) is going to be cheating on Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) with the "Hotness Monster" himself, Mercy Wester Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams). The hookup goes down against the backdrop of a huge pediatric case led by our girl-crush, Arizona Robbins (breakout star Jessica Capshaw). We've interrogated both Jessica and Jesse exclusively to find what goes down tonight, and it sounds like it's exactly the kind of major relationship trouble you "Crowen" fans have been fearing... .Jessica Capshaw, who calls tonight's Arizona-centric tearjerker episode an "amazing opportunity" for her as an actress, says the Cristina-Owen sideshow is also pretty spectacular: "I think [the makeout session] is gonna be really hot and really provocative. This show is really great at creating conflict, and it's really great at telling a story and sort of giving an alternate universe where if we acted on all our impulses what we might do." Awww, Cristina. We thought you had more self-control. Blergh. (P.S. Jessica did give us a tiny bit of hope for you Crowen partisans when she told us that the mood on the set during the makeout scene was more silly and goofy than hot and heavy...so that's something, right?) OK, so the makeout session is real. But what does it mean? Jesse Williams (a sweet young actor who clearly has his head on straight) tells us that, "The meaning will be left open to interpretation after tonight's episode, but I think it's a combination of a couple things. There's competition between Cristina and Jackson, but there's an attraction that's both physical and out of respect for her style, her swagger, her adventurousness and her kind of no-apologies approach. I think we have that in common." So could this attraction turn into something long-term? Says Jesse, "I don't know where it's going to lead. As it stands, it's going to be unresolved. It's not over. And I think that Jackson is not as in the loop as the audience is in terms of Cristina being with Owen. He doesn't know what he's walking into. He might be a little more ambitious that he should be." And for those of you hoping Jackson's "Mercy Wester" status will automatically put him in peril and will doom him to leave the show sooner rather than later, hold those horses. Jesse says there is every possibility of one or more of the Mercy Westers sticking around: "I think we were brought in for a reason. It creates some new tension and drama and excitement from the outside as opposed to what's happening on the inside. I would be very surprised if we didn't stick around in some form or fashion." Sounds like the triangle between Cristina, Owen and Jackson is closer to a beginning than it is to an end. Eeek. ABC/RANDY HOLMES As for the rest of the episode, let's put tragic romance aside for a second and talk about the other side of Grey's Anatomy: heroic doctoring. As you already know if you've seen the sneak peeks, tonight's episode focuses on Arizona Robbins and a desperately ill little boy whom she's been treating for several years. According to Jessica, "Tonight harkens back to when I first came on to do about three episodes, and in the second episode it became quickly revealed that when you are a doctor who works only with children, there is a very delicate balance to pay attention to with regard to how much you get invested. It's life and death for anyone, but somehow because children are so vulnerable when something bad happens to them, more when they're sick, it's just so much more heartbreaking. You get to see again how much she cares and how much she takes initiative to help each child as they need to be helped, as opposed to thrusting herself upon them." The big medical crisis splits the team in two, which is how Jackson and Cristina end up working together. As Jessica explains it, "The episode starts basically in the very wee hours of the morning. There are two cases coming into the ER. One of them is Arizona's, and one of them is Callie's. And then they respectively enlist doctors to help them—Owen with Callie and Karev with me, and so on." And then of course there are the crucial politics of it all. Jessica says, "It's the first time you see Arizona involved in the politics of the hospital, and it's also happening all around the time of her birthday." Well, happy birthday, Arizona! You and your fabulous speeches have been a marvelous addition to the show! So what do you guys think? Can you Crowen fans stay loyal to your pairing through this hiccup, or are you too brokenhearted to go on? (Plus, be sure to check back on Monday for more from Jessica and Jesse in the Spoiler Chat!) Bonus Grey's Anatomy trivia question: Jessica Capshaw and Katherine Heigl costarred in what movie? (No fair peeking at IMDB!) Grey's Anatomy airs tonight at 9 on ABC. ________ If you haven't seen them yet, don't miss the four sneak peeks of tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy. .Read More •Grey's Anatomy Sneak Peeks: Izzie, Why You Gotta Play Your Man Like That? |

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/11/05/addison-and-mark-reunited-in-greys-crossover/ Exclusive: Addison and Mark reunited in 'Grey's,' 'Private' crossover event by Michael Ausiello Categories: Grey's Anatomy, News, Private Practice In what has become something of an annual tradition, Private Practice’s Kate Walsh is heading back to Grey’s Anatomy in early January to play a key role in a top-secret crossover event involving Addison, Mark, and that blond chick from Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. Want to know more? Then keep reading. Everyone else, make a mad, tramplin’ dash for the nearest exit! Okay, here’s the sitch: In the Grey’s half of the crossover, Mark summons Addison to Seattle Grace to perform a surgery on TBCFTSCC (a.k.a. Leven Rambin). The storyline spills over into Private when, according exec producer Shonda Rhimes, “complications arise and Mark ends up taking [her] back down to Los Angeles to get more surgery.” What’s Mark’s connection to TBCFTSCC? Will sparks fly between lovers-turned-friends Addison and Mark? And what impact does this crisis have on “Mexie”? Answers to all those questions (as well as a few others) can be found in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on sale tomorrow. Come on, don’t make that face. You know you love it when I shamelessly cross-promote. |

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b152404_eric_dane_kate_walsh_do_next_greys.html Eric Dane and Kate Walsh Do the Next Grey's Anatomy-Private Practice Crossover Thu., Nov. 5, 2009 3:42 PM PST by Kristin Dos Santos Inside sources and ABC confirm that producers of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice are planning another crossover event. Anatomy star Chandra Wilson recently made a visit to the Santa Monica-set spinoff show Private Practice, and now Eric Dane and Kate Walsh are set to appear on both Shonda Rhimes shows on the same night. So why are the old lovers reconnecting? Here's what we're hearing... According to my frenemy, the crossover begins in the 9 p.m. hour when Addy wings to Seattle to do surgery on Leven Rambin's character. (Could Leven's character be preggo? Otherwise, why would neonatal surgeon Addison be involved?) And then, after complications arise with the patient, McSteamy and Rambin's character travel to Los Angeles in the 10 p.m. hour to seek additional help from Addison. Aside from the medicine, we're hoping Addy uses this crossover opportunity to comment on how both of her men (McDreamy, McSteamy) seem to find Grey girls irresistible. Is it something in the Seattle water? Are you excited to see Addy and Mark back together again? Edited by McDreaming, Nov 6 2009, 05:55 PM.

http://www.tvguide.com/News/GreyAnatomy-Jackson-Cristina-1011684.aspx Grey's Anatomy: Jesse Williams Dissects the Jackson-Cristina Kiss Now that you've seen the kiss between Owen's gal Cristina (Sandra Oh) and new Mercy Wester Jackson (Jesse Williams) on Grey's Anatomy, find out about the aftermath, details on the other Mercy West-Seattle Grace coupling and the return of Izzie (Katherine Heigl) from Williams himself. (Read our episode recap here. TVGuide.com: Jackson and Cristina kissed! What the ... ? Jesse Williams: From the beginning when Jackson joined, he's immediately thrown into this direct competition with Cristina. We're on the same cases, we're battling for surgeries. We've had a couple of run-ins. In this episode, she really takes charge and goes with her gut and I'm in a position to really admire her. We have similar character traits and watching her take the reins gets Jackson fired up. He's looking at her differently now. He's seen a whole new side of her that's so attractive. What also helped was that he had been boozing all night, but the attraction is real and it has been mounting. I think she kind of liked it. TVGuide.com: Yeah, she doesn't pull away right away. She kisses him back for a brief moment. Williams: That would be Jackson's argument. We don't address it directly right away in the coming episodes. What we're doing is letting it hang out there for a little bit and let the audience feel that tension and the moments between her and I going forward. Jackson doesn't know anything about Cristina and Owen [Kevin McKidd], so it's not an affront to Owen, it's just a man attracted to a woman. TVGuide.com: Are you worried that fans of Cristina and Owen are going to hate your character? Williams: You're not supposed to like [the Mercy Westers] off the jump. I view it as Jackson has to take his lumps. He's stepped into the enemy's territory and he welcomes that. It's a pretty relatable crime of passion. We've all been attracted to somebody for all types of reasons. Sometimes you go for it and sometimes you get slapped on the nose for it. I think they'll forgive me. TVGuide.com: How does this kiss affect the relationship between Cristina and Owen? Williams: Surprisingly enough, I think it doesn't help or hurt. They're both so strong-headed and so career-oriented that, good or bad, the work comes first. You don't see the residual effects immediately, and then it wells up and it'll explode at some point. We haven't come to that point yet. TVGuide.com: Kim Raver is coming in as Teddy, who was in the war with Owen. It seems like this is going to turn into a love quadrangle. How does that play out? Williams: A lot of tension is mounting right now. Everybody is working together and a red flag has not been put in the sand yet. Nobody is laying claim and there isn't a big kerfuffle yet. It's a ticking time bomb. Who's going to make the first move? Who knows? Who doesn't know? Is it obvious? Was it really something or was it truly platonic? I've done a fair amount of scenes with Kim, but I don't know what's going to happen yet. Jackson is definitely paying attention with two ears to see what happens. TVGuide.com: Will people start to find out about the kiss? Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is returning to the hospital and Cristina does tend to tell her everything. Williams: It's kind of our secret. Going forward, that's the mystery of it. Cristina does always confide in Meredith, though. I don't know if Jackson's dodges a bullet or not. TVGuide.com: Cristina and Jackson will have to be around each other a lot still. How hard will that be for them? Williams: There's so many things going on that when we are together, it's so work-related. We're clashing high speed on issues with patients. There will definitely be constant reminders and temptations. We're worried about prying eyes and who knows what and where, so it's something they keep with them. There's already been a bit of a banter between both of them, and this raises the stakes. TVGuide.com: Is Cristina his cardio God? Maybe his version of Dr. Burke (Isaiah Washington)? Williams: It's not so much teacher-student because they're both residents and both pretty bad ass in their field, but I think it becomes more primal, just passionate attraction, more so than being about the work as much as about her style. TVGuide.com: How will this kiss affect Jackson's transition at Seattle Grace? Williams: In retrospect, that weighs a bit on Jackson's mind. What have I done? I'm walking into a situation where I am the minority here and I just go head long into something that could potentially have backlash. Jackson has to deal with navigating that, carefully going forward and getting Cristina's take on this. I can say it gets addressed, words are spoken between the two as to how we're going to handle this. TVGuide.com: Jackson is not the only Mercy Wester who likes a Seattle Gracer. Reed (Nora Zehetner) and Alex (Justin Chambers) are developing a budding relationship. Are the Mercy Westers just home wreckers? Williams: We are just a passionate people, the Mercy Westers. We know what we like and we take what we like. That's probably how we've gotten ahead. We don't know Izzie, we haven't watched [Izzie and Alex] grow for five years, we weren't there for their wedding, all we know is she's a snappy broad who just got fired for making a stupid mistake. Will some compassion grow from there? Sure. But Reed is on her own there, I'm not the one chasing a married person. I will defend her only to a point. TVGuide.com: What's the dynamic like once Izzie returns to the hospital in the Nov. 12 episode? Williams: I think everybody has a lot of unanswered questions for her. What the hell are you doing? What is your deal? Don't take us all down for this and disappear. These are people that care about her, but on the outside, everybody is just concerned with what's going to happen with her now. Alex is the one that takes it hard when she steps foot back in Seattle Grace. |

http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2009/11/greys-anatomy-private-practice-cross-over-again.html The doctors of Seattle Grace-Mercy West and Oceanside Wellness will be racking up some more frequent flyer miles between L.A. and Seattle later this season. "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" will cross over again in early 2010, with former lovers Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) and Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) popping up on each other's shows, according to several reports. The crossover will begin with Addison heading to Seattle for a surgery on a young patient (Leven Rambin of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"). Sloan will then travel to Oceanside for followup. We're going to assume that a healthy dose of commentary on their past will be part of the action as well. "Grey's Anatomy" and its spinoff have made a semi-regular habit of crossing into one another's worlds since "Private Practice" began in fall 2007. The two shows did a two-week crossover last February, and Walsh also made an appearance on "Grey's" in May 2008. James Pickens Jr. did a cameo on the "Private Practice" series premiere, and Chandra Wilson guested as Bailey earlier this season. ABC hasn't set an airdate for the latest crossover, but it's likely to run shortly after the new year. |

This is from this week's printed EW mag: Grey's Anatomy prepares to drop a McSteamy bombshell WARNING: If you're a fan of Grey's Anatomy lovebirds Mark (Eric Dane) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh), grab a defibrillator before reading. A Grey's/Private Practice crossover slated to air in January will find the doctor formerly known as McSteamy spending some quality time with his currently single ex Addison (Kate Walsh). "They've both really grown up since they were together, and most of the animosity that they had is gone," says Shonda Rhimes, executive producer of both shows. "Now they're friends, but they may end up falling back into their old patterns while they're together." But wait, there's more (so keep those paddles handy). The reason Mark summons Addison to Seattle Grace - prompting him to visit her in L.A. in the second hour of the crossover - is that he needs her to perform surgery on a woman from his past. Actually, make that a girl (played by Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles alum Leven Rambin, who first appears on Nov. 19.) - and a pregnant one at that! Rhimes declines to reveal the character's connection to Mark, but one of the rumors currently making the rounds is that the girl is his daughter. "It's a new obstacle for [Lexie and Mark]," teases Rhimes of Rambin's role. "I'm not sure it's the kind of obstacle people are expecting, but it's definitely a new one. I'm not sure they'll stick together through it." Okay, you can go ahead and use those paddles now." The picture is one of Addison and Mark and the caption says, "GETTING STEAMY? Walsh and Dane will be reacquainted." |

this story is everywhere! http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/11/09/greys-anatomy-scoop-crisis-looms-for-mark-and-lexie/ 'Grey's Anatomy' scoop: Crisis looms for Mark and Lexie by Michael Ausiello Categories: Grey's Anatomy, News, Private Practice Warning: If you’re a fan of Grey’s Anatomy lovebirds Mark and Lexie, grab a defibrillator before reading. The early 2010 Grey’s/Private Practice crossover I told you about last week will find the doctor formerly known as McSteamy spending some quality time with his currently single ex, Addison. “They’ve both really grown up since they were together, and most of the animosity that they had is gone,” says Shonda Rhimes, executive producer of both shows. “Now they’re friends, but they may end up falling back into their old patterns while they’re together.” But wait, there’s more (so keep those paddles handy). As you know, the reason Mark pages Addison to Seattle Grace (and what prompts him to visit her in L.A. in the second hour of the crossover) is that he needs her to perform surgery on a woman from his past (played by Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles alum Leven Rambin, who first airs on Nov. 19). But here’s where the plot thickens: One possibly-true rumor making the rounds is that the woman — make that girl — is Mark’s daughter! And she’s pregnant! Rhimes isn’t commenting on the Papa McSteamy buzz, but she does acknowledge that Rambin’s character represents a “new obstacle for [Mark and Lexie]… I’m not sure it’s the kind of obstacle people are expecting, but it’s definitely a new one. I’m not sure they’ll stick together through it.” Okay, you can go ahead and use those paddles now. |

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b152922_spoiler_chat_gossip_girl_threesome_gets.html Lucas in Evanston, Ill.: Forget Owen and Cristina on Grey's Anatomy! Give us some scoop on Cristina and Jackson! Please? ABC/Randy Holmes Look at you with your contrarian point of view! If you are rooting for Cristina-Jackson, you'll be happy to hear from Jesse Williams that most of his scenes are with Sandra Oh and Chyler Leigh: "It seems to be Cristina and also Lexie [that I spent most time with], just because our characters did spend that whole episode together last week. Right when we started, Jackson and Cristina did the opposite of hit it off; immediately they had confrontation with each other, but I do think there is an underlying mutual respect and wariness there that will carry on." Sounds like a definite case of unresolved sexual tension... Bridget in Portland, Ore.: I loved last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, especially the scenes between Arizona and Callie! They are becoming my favorite couple on the show. What's the scoop on them coming up? According to the lovely Ms. Jessica Capshaw (aka the Arizona half of Callizona), "I don't have a view of what's around the corner, but it feels like they're in a nice place. I would be lying if I didn't say this is a one-hour drama—of course there's gonna be drama, there has to be—but so far I don't know where the drama or the conflict will be coming from. I think they're just in a very sort of loving relationship and all the good things that come with a new relationship and trying to figure it out." Yay! |

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b152872_greys_anatomy_first_look_this_mcsteamys.html Grey's Anatomy First Look: Is This McSteamy's Daughter? Mon., Nov. 9, 2009 3:45 PM PST by Jennifer Godwin ABC/Danny Feld Leven Rambin, aka home wrecker Riley from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is coming to Grey's Anatomy Nov. 19, and her home-wrecking streak might not be done yet... We've been told that Leven's character features heavily in the Nov. 19 episode, titled "Holidaze," and that during the course of that episode (which spans several weeks of story time), "Mark (Eric Dane) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) must cope with the shocking arrival of a woman from his past." What's so shocking? Well, rumor has it that Leven plays Mark "McSteamy" Sloan's long-lost daughter. Gasp! Do you see a family resemblance? And if you're a "Sexie" fan, is it better if this newcomer is a romantic rival or if she's just a reminder that the Mark-Lexie romance is sometimes just a smidge age-inappropriate? (Seriously, Leven and Chyler look like they could be sorority sisters!) Last but not least, is anyone out there a tiny bit suspicious that this blond newcomer might actually be the daughter that Izzie (Katherine Heigl) gave up for adoption? What? We're just paranoid, OK?! Hit the comments with your reactions! _________ |

http://www.buddytv.com/articles/greys-anatomy/addison-and-sloan-to-figure-in-32476.aspx Addison and Sloan to Figure in 'Grey's' and 'Private' Crossover Event Sunday, November 08, 2009 What, another visit from dear old Addison (Kate Walsh)? We'll take it! Grey's Anatomy (and Seattle Grace) is set to welcome Addison to its halls once again, with an upcoming crossover event between her original show and her own spin-off. Sloan (Eric Dane), meanwhile, will reportedly fly to Los Angeles to drop by Private Practice. Want to know the details of the January crossover? Read on. The crossover event is reportedly set to kickoff at 9pm with Grey's Anatomy, when Addie drops by Seattle Grace to perform a surgery on the character to be played by Leven Rambin, best known for All My Children and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Things don't go so well, and "complications arise" and Mark ends up having to take Rambin back to Los Angeles to get more surgery. I'm not really sure if we can assume right away that Rambin is pregnant, but why else would they need the services of a neonatal surgeon? As for a little background material, Mark and Addison started not-so-wholesomely, with an affair while Addie was with Mark's best friend Derek (Patrick Dempsey). Mark stormed to Seattle, while the two attempted to get into a real relationship. It failed, and he cheated on her. She moved to Seattle, only to find out that Derek had started a relationship with intern Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). |

According to TV Guide, girlfriends Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), a.k.a. Calzona, will share screen time with boyfriends Jeff and Aaron in an early 2010 episode. The male couple, in their 30s, checks into Seattle Grace when Aaron, an overweight opera singer, becomes ill. Aaron will be supported by his husband Jeff, who works as a teacher. Grey's Anatomy is looking for an actor to play Aaron who can sing a cappella. |

WOW... I was wrong... its Arizona!!! http://www.spoilertv.com/2009/11/mega-buzz-scoop-on-v-greys-vampire.html I loved the Arizona-centric episode of Grey's Anatomy. What's next for her? — Lori ADAM: Show of jazz hands: Who wants a musical episode of Grey's? Well, you're probably out of luck, but we will see Arizona sing in the coming weeks! Better still, it's a duet, but don't expect Tony winner Sara Ramirez to be her partner in song. Instead, Arizona will trill with one of her male co-stars. I hear the Chief has a rich baritone. |

What's Leven Rambin Doing on Grey's? November 10, 2009 2:57 PM By Megan Lynn You know how nutty Grey's Anatomy has been this season -- with the merger, the Izzie disappearance, and the whole "Chief and McDreamy aren't talking" thing? Well, Leven Rambin is about to make it nuttier. E! reports that the All My Children actress is heading to Grey's Anatomy November 19th. And they're guessing she's McSteamy's long-lost daughter. OR Izzie's! OK. How much do you love that not one, but TWO doctors have a lovechild out there? What do you think Leven's business is at Seattle Grace/Mercy West? And keep clicking for more photos of Leven on Grey's! http://sn.soapnet.go.com/news/article/whats-leven-rambin-doing-greys |

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/11/11/ask-ausiello-spoilers-greys-smallville-big-love-scrubs/ Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'Big Bang,' 'Grey's,' 'Glee,' and more! by Michael Ausiello Categories: Ask Ausiello, Big Love, Chuck, Friday Night Lights, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, House, Leverage, Lie to Me, Lost, NCIS, News, Numb3rs, Private Practice, Scrubs, Smallville, The Big Bang Theory, True Blood, Ugly Betty Got a scoop request? An anonymous tip you’re dying to share? Just want to say hi? You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com Question: Is Izzie really pregnant on Grey’s Anatomy? —Elle Ausiello: I’ll say this: ABC’s promo gurus are very sneaky! While we’re on the subject of Katherine Heigl, sources confirm to me exclusively that she’s taking another leave of absence from Grey’s — but this time her reasons are personal not professional. Heigl will be going on a belated maternity leave to spend some QT with new daughter Naleigh. As a result, Izzie will be MIA for another string of episodes (most likely in early 2010.) Question: Please tell me something will happen soon on Grey’s Anatomy that will make me stop hating the Chief! —Ann Ausiello: Would the sight of him falling off the wagon do the trick? ‘Cause that’s what happens at the end of this week’s episode. |

i'm a big shipper of Mark and Lexie, so I hope they'll stick together. my gut feeling though (from the beginning) has been that they won't make it.
