This is probably the part of Riley on the casting spoiler it said young actress 18 or older to play 18 year, a little trashy.

I believe this is the part that Levin Ramblin was cast in. She is in her early twenties, and could even play trashy at 17 on All My Children. Most of her praise from All My Children came from playing Austic "Lily", but then later played her own look alike older half sister "Ava" who was definitely trashy.

I think she will probably think that Mark is her father, and that will cause problems for Lexie who isn't ready for her own child, let alone a grown up step child.

I know Sloan is ahead of Lexie in wanting more... he wants a family... and Lexie wants to finish her goals first. I wonder if Sloan is going to wait it out... you know? Or will he turn into the ManWhore again? I hope not... but I wonder....

by Michael Ausiello

Danielle Panabaker, best known for her role as James Woods’ daughter on CBS’ Shark, is checking into Grey’s Anatomy next month.

The actress will play a patient under the care of Cristina and Jackson in the Nov. 19 episode. “It’s a really sweet, heartbreaking story,” says a Grey’s insider.

In the same episode, The Wire’s Frankie Faison will appear as Bailey’s father, Bill.

Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Mark's Mystery Woman
Posted on October 29th, 2009 8:56 AM by iheartizzie

We've hinted for some time at a rough patch on the way for Mark and Lexie. But here's another piece of the puzzle courtesy of Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly.

See what you make of this item ...

Q: I love Grey’s Anatomy but what’s this I hear about trouble on the horizon for Mark and Lexie? Who is this supposed mystery woman from Mark’s past?

A: From what I've gathered thus far, I believe she hails from Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles and has McSteamy DNA coursing through her veins.

Thoughts? Theories? Share!

**Yep I am thinking this could be a child of his???

To date, Steve has had seven surgeries to try to repair the damage. Most of his problems with pain, balance and memory are not repairable, and he will probably never be able to work a full-time job again. Although Steve has regained his ability to walk, and retains his humorous personality, his family knows his life has changed forever. Are you sure its their demise? It could be about anything??? Maybe a child dies and Callie is not sure how to comfort Arizona... we always see Arizona as the strong one... but what if the tables are turned and Arizona needs Callie to be her comfort? Remember things are not always what they seem... Ok... lets check into this more... I need to go back and read the episode discussions...

Grey’s Anatomy Discussion: How do you feel about medicine-focused episodes?

November 2, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz

The last couple of episodes of Grey’s Anatomy have undoubtedly shifted the focus away from the usual interpersonal relationships between the characters and dealt heavily with the medical. For some viewers the change has been a welcome one, while for others it has been a frustrating couple of episodes.

It is unlikely that all of the remaining episodes of season six will deal only with the medicine, as there are many things headed our way that will impact the relationships on the show. We know, for example, that Kim Raver (Lipstick Jungle) will be showing up to stir things up between Cristina and Hunt (as if they need more stirring up). Then we’ve got Leven Rambin showing up in Mark’s (and Lexie’s) life. And of course, who can forget the fact that there’s a bunch of new people wandering around Seattle Grace?

But the past couple of episodes have worked to remind us that these characters we know and love are doctors first and foremost. But did we need to be reminded? Is it important to focus on Derek’s ability to remove an impossible tumor? Will the fact that he did so successfully impact his storyline for the rest of the season?

More to the point: How did you feel about the past couple of episodes? Did you like the fact that we got to see more about the medicine or are you hoping the writers have gotten it all out of their system and return to the characters?

Jenny in Alaska: Any news on Grey's Anatomy?
Football injuries are a very trendy topic these days (we blame Malcolm Gladwell), and Grey's Anatomy jumps on the bandwagon in episode 11 when the gang treats a quarterback injured during a game.

From the TV Guide:

Question: I’ve been enjoying this season of Grey’s Anatomy, but while I’m still not totally on board about the merger plot, at least now I can see some interesting questions being explored. I don’t care much about any of the new characters, but I like the exploration of what it means to be a leader at every level of the hospital. The Chief has been basically hiding and not providing any concrete leadership, a poor way to run a hospital that leaves each person to basically figure out how to navigate the resulting chaos. Particularly in the Oct. 22 “I Saw What I Saw” episode, I liked Derek’s implication that the Chief may be ultimately responsible for the death of the burn patient. I don’t usually expect deep revelations from Grey’s, but I finished that episode thinking about how much the doctors were responsible and how much the chaotic situation was to blame. Should a person be fired for one mistake, even it results in a death (as Dr. House once said, “it is the nature of medicine that you will kill someone”)? Will Derek, who has definitely stepped up to the plate in the wake of the merger, be taking over as Chief? What’s your take on the direction of the show?—Amy

Matt Roush: So far so good this season. I have really enjoyed the focus of the last few episodes on hardcore medical crisis and staff conflict, putting the often ridiculous sexual shenanigans on the back burner at least for the moment, while not ignoring the emotional element, especially Alex’s anguish at Izzie running off (and skipping a treatment). The Chief’s leadership crisis has created some strong drama as well, especially as he continues to clash with miracle worker Derek. I guess I agree as well that the newbies from Mercy West haven’t made much of an impression (and I was sorry that Sarah Drew fell on her sword, although it also made sense to give that part to the strongest actor), but regardless of how the show evolves, our sympathies are going to lie with the core characters for a good long while to come.

Question: I am curious about your thoughts concerning how Grey’s Anatomy is progressing this season. We have had seven [now eight since this was written] episodes so far, all with very little character development of the core SGH staff. I am a huge shipper for Cristina and Owen, but the most screen time they have gotten this season together has been in the premiere. I find this very disappointing as the PSTD storyline was very intriguing last year, and from what I have read, a lot of critics love the Owen/Cristina storyline. Are we supposed to buy that Owen is suddenly clueless to his girlfriend’s professional/educational pressure which everyone else seems to realize? I find this whole lack of them on screen very disenchanting, especially when there is a great actor like Kevin McKidd getting maybe two minutes of screen time. Granted Sandra Oh has still managed to make Cristina shine in spite of everything, but I find Cristina is becoming more of a pillar for the rest of the staff which is all well and good but I want to see her kicking ass back in the OR where she belongs. On top of this is the odd unraveling of certain characters, specifically Lexie, who overnight has turned into an emotionally incompetent doctor. So far she has broken down crying in almost every episode this season, and the more it happens, the less I am liking the character, which is a pity because I think Chyler Leigh is a good actress, I just don’t like how they are writing Lexie. Given the Oct. 22 episode which offered a slightly different form of editing and storytelling, I found little to care about. There were just too many characters and not enough time to invest in any of them. Stylistically it was reminiscent of Memento and Twelve Angry Men, but I found it lacked greatly in content and it was one of the few episodes where I walked away with nothing. It’s obvious that Shonda & Co. are just trying to rush along the integration of the Mercy West characters in order to focus more on the ones we really care about. The Mercy West staff are basically caricatures of the ones we already know, which is even more frustrating. At the same time, I am finding this too tedious to keep watching, and even though I know it’s not for much longer (at least until sweeps) until the reasons we do watch the show are actually getting screen time. Thoughts?—Maya

Matt Roush: As I often feel in cases like these, I’m more concerned with the show getting back on its feet for a pivotal and transitional new season than satisfying all the “shippers” and their various agendas week in and week out. This question came in before the terrific scene of Owen helping Cristina master her new surgical skill, and it was tender and intimate and, as I noted in my Week in Review column, reminiscent of the times when Burke would mentor Cristina. Her story is building slowly but surely to a point where she’s either got to score a big surgical win or have some other sort of breakthrough. I advise patience. They’ll get to that story when it’s time. Can’t really argue with you about Lexie. I enjoy “little Grey” in her scenes with Mark, but from scene to scene, I never know if I’m going to find her annoying or endearing, and it may take a while to forgive the character that diaper speech from last week. But I couldn’t disagree with you more about the Oct. 22 episode, which was really more of a “Rashomon”-style medical mystery told from overlapping points of view. To say it lacked content reveals more about what someone wants the show to be than it does about the episode itself, which was widely regarded by many, including Grey’s skeptics, as one of the best Grey’s episodes in ages. It may not have advanced many personal storylines, but it illuminated the conflict that is driving this part of the season and did it with the sort of dramatic power one tends to associate with the early golden days of ER. One character observation: I am very impressed at the way they’re developing Arizona’s character this season. She’s getting a real backbone and often is acting like one of the few adults in the hospital. Grey’s Anatomy needs that kind of ballast, and I didn’t see it coming from her. As I said in the first Grey’s answer, I’m on board with where the show is going right now, but I would caution the show to not lose sight of its major characters at the expense of introducing these Mercy West interlopers.

http://www.spoilertv.com/2009/11/fancast-scoop-on-greys-chuck.html

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ should bring back Burke - but it doesn’t have to be the same actor. If not Isaiah Washington, try someone new. That could be a nice storyline for Cristina. – Annette in Comments

I’m glad you shared this sentiment, because I made the exact same pitch to ‘Grey’s’ creator Shonda Rhimes. I mean, why introduce some new doc played by Kim Raver when a return by Burke (even via a recast) could really rattle the rafters? Rhimes’ response: “First of all, you can’t recast Burke. As far as I’m concerned, none of these [cast members] are recastable.” As for ever addressing any business left unfinished when Burke ran out on Yang, Rhimes countered, “No, I feel like we really played that storyline out in the way we meant to play it out - and I think it worked.”

Question: Please give us some scoop on Alex and Izzie on Grey’s Anatomy. Is there any good news for them coming up? I’m dying here! —Rachel
Ausiello: My new BFF Shonda Rhimes says there are “some shocking things” in store for the newlyweds during the second half of the season. “The next part of [their] journey,” she teases, “is going to be pretty interesting.” I don’t know about you, but I get a little scared when Shonda throws words around like “pretty” and “interesting.”

Grey's Anatomy's Jessica Capshaw on Callie and Arizona's Impending Troubles

Last week on Grey's Anatomy, Derek Shepherd stepped into the spotlight, saving a co-worker's legs and life. This week, Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) steps into it, testing her ethics while trying to save a patient — a 10-year-old whose parents have millions to donate to the hospital. Could Arizona bring Seattle Grace out of economic turmoil? Capshaw tells TVGuide.com about the challenges her character will face, the upcoming speed bumps for Arizona and Callie (Sara Ramirez) and the possibility for wedding bells at Seattle Grace...

TVGuide.com: What can you tell us about the Arizona-centric episode?

I have a patient who I fight very hard for. Everybody feels strongly about it and it's a very high-stakes episode. It's life or death. The episode speaks to the whole idea that money runs a hospital. The chief [James Pickens Jr.] is having a hard time figuring out how to make the hospital ascend the ranks of the numbers game, [and] money helps make that happen. Arizona's case happens to be with a set of parents who have the ability to give or not give in a very consequential way.

TVGuide.com: Arizona seems to have a pretty straight moral compass. How will she feel in making these decisions based on money?

Yeah, she's a little perfect that way [Laughs]. This episode has all of that in mind, but at the same time, we are all only human and we can all only ever do the best that we can. Sometimes the best we can, in her case, leaves her a little more vulnerable to the elements and to the story and what's happening. She has to make choices that are very hard as a surgeon, but also as a pre-eminent doctor in a hospital that is part of the reason that people are giving money or not giving money.

TVGuide.com: This episode also features Arizona's birthday.

She has a birthday and very in line with Arizona's character, who is not about herself and just very clear about who she is, she's not the one to be asking for balloons and candles. She thinks it's a day like any other day. There is a party, but it's not one that she knows about. Given that in this particular episode we've centered on her professional and personal life, the two definitely crossover. She doesn't have the typical reaction to someone going out of their way to throw them a big party.

TVGuide.com: What's in store for the future of Callie and Arizona's relationship?

This season has been about cementing a very mature and grounded relationship and taking it forward. This is a drama, of course; there will be conflict, but for the time being, they're enjoying being in a relationship that seems stable.

TVGuide.com: We have not seen Callie and Arizona get intimate this season. Sara Ramirez said they probably are. What's your take on that?

Definitely, of course it's happening. They're in a committed relationship. It's like the beginnings of any relationship, but I think they're very much together and all of that is happening. I'm sure that we'll have our time.

TVGuide.com: Callie has vacillated about her sexuality. Could that be an issue that comes up?

There's definitely ample opportunity for that to happen. Obviously the halls of Seattle Grace have been well known for missteps. These are doctors, they're in intense situations and their personal lives follow suit. They make mistakes. They kiss the wrong people, they sleep with the wrong people, they sleep with the right people, they kiss the right people. We get to see how things unfold and if there's forgiveness. Callie could find another guy or girl. Her playing field is vast.

TVGuide.com: Will Sloane (Eric Dane) and Arizona butt heads because they've slept with the same woman?

In a way it's implied that they might. Whenever there's been a chance to play that I am intimidated by him or being standoffish, I've always chosen to make it very playful. It's much more Arizona's style to find it very amusing.

TVGuide.com: Could there be wedding bells for Callie and Arizona?

There's probably a lot more stuff that has to happen before that happens. Listen, being that I've been married for five years now and I've been with my husband for nearly eight, you have to make sure you're with the right person and you need the groundwork to be laid. I don't think they're going to get married just to get married. As Arizona goes, I think she has incredible discipline and she does, as you said, have a very strict moral compass and marriage would not be something she would jump into without giving it a great amount of thought.

TVGuide.com: Arizona refers to her family a lot. Will we meet her dad?

I hope that we do. They've certainly set it up that we could and it would be a great opportunity to take advantage of.

TVGuide.com: Arizona has been much less fazed by the merger. Is she just superconfident?

It's sort of funny, she never thinks she's wrong and you don't hate her for it. There's no ego though, she just always thinks she's right and she is. Cristina wanted to get on my service because no one was going to let go of the person that saves babies, so maybe that's part of it. In Thursday's episode, it will be revealed whether or not she's worth her weight in gold and how important she is.

The Arizona-centric episode of Grey's Anatomy airs Thursday, Nov. 5, at 9/8c on ABC.
