Posts: 17 Group: Interns Member #77 Joined: August 8, 2008	It was a week later and Meredith and Derek were preparing themselves for the babies. Derek has been working all the shifts he can get so he can take more time off when the babies are born, and Meredith has been working a few hours each day, and then going home and resting between doctors appointments. She knew she was running out of time because Dr. Johnson had told her that in a week or so she would need to go on bedrest until the babies were born. Baby E was still too small, and Meredith had been taking special vitamins to help the babies grow, but there was really nothing they could do but hope that the girls would stay in for at least another two months or so. Derek and Meredith had also been in contact with Derek's mom. Even though they left on shady terms, everyone knew that it was important that the babies know their grandmother. Meredith had grown up without a family and she wanted her babies to have a family and for that family to be very important to them. So Derek's mother (laura) and sister (Erin) were flying out next month and were going to stay with them until the babies were born. As if Meredith wasn't nervous enough, now she had to entertain Derek's mother.
