Lexi-Meredith talk to me.

Meredith-I just i don't know what to say being here is just.

Lexi-Did you seriously believe you wouldn't ever come back here.

Meredith-I don't know Lexi.

Lexi-Mer come home please it's been 12 yrs and we miss you everyday you have a nephew and another one on the way we think it's a girl.

Meredith-Lex this isn't home anymore.

Lexi-It is Mer your home is with Derek he is your husband he loves you Mer and i know you love him.

Meredith-Lexi please don't i can't deal with this now i'm just being here and seeing Belle with Derek it's just my head is spinning i just please not now.

Back in the house.

Derek-What do you think they are talking about.

Mark-Lexi is likely trying to convience Meredith to come home.

Derek-Oh that's ok.

Mark-Derek watch what your doing i don't want to see you hurt.

Derek-Mark i just i need to talk to her.

Mark-Your still in love with her you can't see clearly Derek look at the facts she had the tickets pre-booked she had no intention of staying and how do you know that she isn't going to take Belle and disapear.

Derek-I have to give her the chance.

Mark-Why you don't owe her anyhing you don't owe her any second chances she took your baby and left you.

Derek-Her 2 best friends died her family Mer has always been abondoned and she couldn't cope so she ran.

Mark-Making excuses for her.

Derek-You don't understand.

Mark-Damn right i don't understand and if you expect me to just welcome her back with open arms you are seriously mistaken.

Derek-Mark.

Mark-No Meredith Grey screwed you over she broke you she is a complete bitch and she doesn't deserve our respect or your forgiveness.

Derek-Mark stop now.

Belle-My Mom isn't a bitch.

Derek-Babe.

Mark-Belle i'm sorry i'm angry that she just walks back into his life and he is falling over himself to make sure she is ok.

Belle-Mom is here because of me because i came here.

Derek-Belle it's ok.

Belle-No Dad he can't say things like that.

Mark-Yes i can.

Meredith-What's going on.

Belle-Mom are you ready to go.

Meredith-Belle what's wrong.

Belle-Nothing Mom it's ok.

Derek-Meredith please wait.

Lexi-Meredith please.

Belle-Mom let's go the cab is outside.

Meredith grabs her bag from the side and looks up at Derek.

Derek-Meredith please.

Meredith-Sorry i'm sorry.

Meredith follows Belle out of the house Derek walks to the door.

Belle-I will see you soon Dad.

Derek-Ok babe.

Derek stands by the door as the cab pulls away.

Mark-Derek.

Derek-Thanks Mark.

Mark-I'm not going to apologise for telling the truth.

Derek-Go away please.

Mark-I'll be there when it all falls apart because it will fall apart and deep down you know it.

Lexi-Derek are you ok.

Derek-I don't know Lex.

Mark-Lexi let's go babe.

Lexi hugs Derek and leaves the house.
Derek heads into work but he just can't get his head into it he takes part in surgeries hoping to get his thoughts away from Meredith and Belle he just has a feeling that Belle won't come back that Meredith will take her and run further away from him.
The following day he is in his office Rachel is talking to him but Derek isn't really listening he looks up as his door knocks and Belle walks in pulling a pink suitcase.

Derek-Hey you came back.

Belle-Of course i did.

Rachel-Hello Belle we kinda got of to a bad start before so i'm sorry clean slate.

Belle-Um yeah ok nice to meet yoy.

Derek-Rachel do you mind giving us some space.

Rachel nods and quickly kisses Derek before leaving.

Derek-You flew back alone you should of called me i would of picked you up from the airport.

Rachel-I didn't fly alone Mom was with me she dropped me off here and left again.

Derek-Meredith is in Seattle.

Belle-I think so she didn't really say she just said she had things to do and if i need her to call her.
Do you know she smashed her phone against the wall that's why i couldn't get hold of her she had to buy a brand new cell phone.

Derek-Oh why.

Belle-She didn't say do you have to stay here or can we go.

Derek-I cleared my schedule for the next 2 weeks i have a few surgeries and meetings i couldn't get out off but apart from the odd days i'm all yours.

Belle hugs Derek and he smiles as he grabs her case and they leave his office his head again consumed with everything Meredith especially thoughts about Wednesday and what that day will mean with Meredith being in Seattle.
