Seemed like the past couple months you wanted nothing to do with it or played in the server when there would be people playing there... kind of funny to me now all of a sudden its like you want to run it? There's very good reasons why your not in the clan and why War isn't a leader basically if you knew who Phantom was he basically is War just wants control of a server so he can do what he pleases I'm not like that even if I let the place go. I have a better idea posted in the MEMBERS forum for MEMBERS to see an idea that I would think actually work but obviously I can't do that all by myself and doesn't seem like anyone wants to step up to help so. I don't want war getting the server because then he'll hold that over my head and get him thinking he can do what he pleases which I'm sorry doesn't work that way ask Phantom. Oh and I'm sorry for not having time to get on here anymore to do things and I'm also tired of people talking about Jon saying he doesn't do anything.. that's false hes in Ohio to see his family and will be back this week sometime and next to Choose he's probably one of the best co-leaders I had. You can say what you'd like about our current leaders now I'll always have something to say to back up my selections with actually scratch my the clans selections since most of our leaders were voted on by the clan themselves.

I still get on once and awhile to play but when its warm outside im not going to be online playing alot. I mean not trying to sound mean about it but its just seems to be the truth in the matter. when summer comes around people are out doing things more outside of cs.

Yeah, vinny i kind of have an extremely hard school, and everything else i'm involved in during it, plus a job. So yes, I've been gone for awhile. And just because i wasn't playing doesn't mean i wasn't watching the site, i got bored of cs for awhile, everyone does. And if there are good reasons let me know because I'd really like to know, but you can message me that unless you really wanna feel the need to make it public. And you sound as if i couldn't help run it if you needed me to, however, i'm pretty sure the past speaks for itself on what i can do. You used to admire that. I'm just trying to help out the server! I'm not even asking to be in the clan, or to be given admin or whatever you think i'm doing; i'm simply asking you to give Choose ftp, so that in situations such as right now when youre busy with your life, and jon is visiting family, someone can assume control when it needs to be taken. I haven't done anything to you, add, so i don't know why you're coming at me like this.. all i wanna do is help.

Posts: 147 Group: Clan Member Member #102 Joined: June 15, 2009	I have recently been trying to spend as much time as possible in the server to up the count and when i do go in the server it picks up for a little while til people get mad and just leave and shit but alls i wanted to say in this post instead of thinking of a way i could help cause i really have no idea other than playing so i will ask What can i do for the clan and server.

We're just all busy people at the moment, the clan isn't going to prosper all year long, 24/7 (even though I want it to), we all have lives beyond CS and to most of us, CS isn't #1 top priority. When we want fun and have free time, we go have some fun in CS and in the clan. The clan is for entertainment and commitment as well as a nice group of people, a family or community. The clan is still prospering right now, look at the forums, we're all together still. The server is a different story, that cannot really be controlled. Give the leaders some time to work on the server, there's no rush. It's not like it's down or something, give them a break.

I've been in 2 clans that have failed before finding DA The "It's Summer, It's Okay" excuse has already been refuted (here's the thread Help The Server!) and I'll say it again - yes, it is normal for you to have a life, but no, ALL cs servers do not decline because of it. If you go to other pubs and clan servers you'll find constant traffic and successful clans. The question is, why is our server and our clan not doing as well as others? What's the use in being a part of a community no one wants to prosper? You can say "well I'm still here" but that's only one of many. If all were still here then that would be one problem solved. The reason people are still on the forums lately is because of the decline in the server: Threads related to the decline and attempts to improve the server have been viewed over 500 times. That's 3 threads, 2 with at least 10 responses - this one included. Now, if everyone who posted had something progessive to say, this ditch the server's in would be less of a ditch and more like a field. On the topic of leaders and leader inactivity - there are currently SIX leaders, each with equal ability to be there for anything. When one leader isn't around there are other leaders there to supplement whatever is needed. At least that was my understanding when I joined DA. There are multiple leaders because ONE person cannot run everything alone. Before leader activity is questioned in terms of cs play, member activity should be considered. Now when it comes to member inactivity - there is a difference between leaders not being around because of irl business and a member joining one day and then not playing or being around at all from the next day until a month, two months later when their activity in the community is questioned. Leaders are here to constantly keep things afloat. Members, however, do come and go so a member's status will always be reviewed. As for Matt, his interest in the clan's business can be justified by the fact that he WAS a member for a very long time and also had a run as a leader. He's been around for awhile so his interest in the clan's well being is no where near spontaneous. As for his posting here, it's only here and not in the members section because he's not a member. Actually, he posted in the right section; this section IS where players come to give feedback on the server afterall. Bots DO keep traffic up to minimum par. Mods we should hold off on until the server picks up a little more (a new and better server is still being discussed). A [set] map rotation seems to be the most popular suggestion so that should be one of our priorities, along with finding a solution to member inactivity. (server rank over the past month) Numbers don't lie. Keep posting your suggestions, that little bump at the beginning of the month is because of everyone trying to help revive DA! DA \| Addiction Posts: 515 Group: Clan Leader Member #15 Joined: October 4, 2008	The only thing I'll say give it 2-3 weeks there is a plan in place to get a new server @ counter-strike.com, I'm working on a new layout for our site which lets face it needs a new look. These are basically the reasons why no one is doing anything right now it would be pointless since we'll have a new server, were also installing the new amxbans 6.0 hopefully it works better then what we have now. Right now gameservers is cheaper but its giving us 30 tickrate while this new one will be constant 100 tickrate so less lag and yes it will be in Chicago still. I've been working with leaders to figure out new things and without question a new ranking system so give it time.
