Greetings O' Chamber of Kings! Well, Halloween is coming soon, and the ghouls will be haunting in the dark and howling at the moon. I love ghouls, from H.P. Lovecraft's 'Pickman's Model', 'Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath'(if Peter Jackson needs a new movie to make, this should be it!), and Brian McNaughton's 'Throne of Bones'. And of course, I love Mantic ghouls the best! But there are only a few poses you can make with them. So I started looking around for other models, not to replace my beloved Mantic, but to spice them up a little. Reaper has some very fine ghouls! Reaper Ghoul King Reaper Ghoul King 2 Reaper Ghoul Queen The Ghoul Kings can be mounted on 40mm bases, and the Queen on a 20mm. You get 2 servant little ghouls too. This means they can, using one of the servants, take up 10 models worth of room in your ghoul horde. Neat huh? I think it adds great visual variety! Gibber! Meep! Happy Halloween! Gerry |

I really like the Queen and her minions. I will probably get one of those at some point. Is the large sword part of the model or separate? |

Hello Lyracian, the sword and the large set of her bone horns are both together on a separate sprue, and need to be attached. --- Gerry |

Hmm, I think I have that ghoul queen around somewhere, bought her for WFRP a while back. I might have to dig her up.... Speaking of ghouls: http://www.heresyminiatures.com/hv020.htm regards, fft Edited by Fool for Thought, Oct 24 2010, 05:37 PM.

Wow that ghoul queen is a very very impressive model! She would indeed look good at the back of a unit directing them forward. |
