"Normal for Norfolk" - abbreviated to NFN, was used on doctors' notes to explain the depth of the stupidity of some of their patients, blamed by some on Norfolk's sheltered gene pool. The term was hurridly dropped after the PC brigade got involved but some say that the situation is now worse than ever ... In response to the 'unexpected' news that their new parliamentary candidate Liz Truss had an affair a few years ago, John Mortimer, 62, a member of the Swaffham Conservative club in the constituency for 20 years, said … “They make out we’re stupid, saying details of her affair were on Google, but no one in Norfolk knows how to use Google”.
