There is a 9 year old entire Male German Shepherd need of a new home he is Black/ Tan short coat with a dark face he's a big boy, stunning came from a marriage break up and the couple that took him on its not woking out he's not been getting on with the dog they already have he is good with dogs outside the house just dont seem to like the dog he's living with the other dog is a young male it sounds like its a sort of teaching the young dog bit of respect but they are worried that it might go further so he's in need of a new home soon as or if someone would like to foster he has lived outside has lived with cats also

Dignified older gentleman is how I'd describe this chap. Not really interested in playing but likes to come over for a stroke and leans into you for a cuddle before striding away with an aloof manner to see what else is going on around about. No signs of aggression and seemed happy enough to potter around with a few other dogs around, however if a young impetuous dog seems to not 'get the message' about leaving him be, he'll certainly give them a few warnings, a little telling off and finally will attempt to pin them down - all the time in a manner that is purely just 'warning' as opposed to 'attacking'.

He'd be a lovely companion dog - after a couple of little tugs on the lead at the start of a walk (with a regular collar on) he happily walked slowly and steadily alongside me and was very relaxed. No worries about going into a kennel - happy to 'chill'.

A little stiff in the back end but nothing that some glucosamine and less energetic walking would keep in check.

Harley has gone to his new home!
Officially he is going as a foster, but I don't believe there is any chance of him coming back, so it's truly a PROUD MOMENT!

YAY - so glad he's found a 'home' to go to rather than being stuck in a kennel for the rest of his days - someone has got a LOVELY dog in Harley - a real sweetheart!
