Leyla arrived at my house last night (thanks to the amazingly well timed late pick-up in London by Bruni & zx9girl!)

Leyla is a beautiful 6yr old bitch who has just come back to Vigil. She had been homed with a lady in London. Unfortunately, someone with a small dog had hit Leyla when she approached in a park in London and Leyla, stressed, apparently bit the woman's dog. There has been hassle about this for a while since and the poor lady has had to give up Leyla.

Leyla is a really nice calm dog that seems to get on with everything: adults, children, other dogs and even cats!

Me too. I'm sure the first person that comes to see her will take her. There seems to be nothing wrong with this girl!

Madly in love with Nigel

As Mike has said I'm sure the first person to see this girl will whip her away.
Concidering her adventure last night I couldn't believe she was so calm and laid back.
It was dark for a start, she didn't have the luxury of my entire boot or even a little of it no she had to squeeze into the front with Debs. But she surprised us both by being a perfect angel. Even going as far as kissing my Kai through the dog guard! :coolgsdbanner
You think I'm smitten you should hear Debs!
A lovely, lovely girl that was a pleasure to transport :smitten:

If it could be love at first sight then im hooked line and sinker. This girl was playing nicely with a rottie when we arrived she greeted us so nicely and very friendly.

Came straight to the car, straight in and there she sat quiet still not a sound but most def calm and relaxed. Kassie had a bark or to and she did not batter an eyelid at all. Her head rested on my leg and she dosed. She did not pull on the lead and I am just in orr as to how perfect she is.

We did a pit stop for peterol and paid the goverment a fortune but needs it was to get this girlie to Mikes and the start to find a brill home. I went in paid and called to her, shock poor shaz a greeting and wagging of tail and more licks of joy. Anyone whom meets her first will most def take her. She settled well with Mike,Liz,Kids, and doggies alike & not to mention cats. If only I could handle 4 and had a bitch that was not gonna cause grief.

Garentee no one would have got a look in.

Shaz thanks for the help on home check and better still my first real part and hand in a rescue and transport of what I would say is a fabulous bitch love2 love2 love2 So So sorry about London but you did good babe. The trip to say was hell on earth fire engines galore corn flake holders whom cant drive for love nor money right from left. Guess destiny played it part again. Sheer luck we were 15 mins from local when Mike called. Huge thanks to you both for taking her in late last night and I was glad to have played a part.

Get in quick if interested you wont be disappointed and I hope whom ever the lucky owner will be you attend some of the walks. :thumbs up:

She's such a nice girl its not really surprising. There were also two other families hoping to have a chance at adopting her.
