Hello, I'm hoping that someone can help me with Kaizer...I have tried and tried to get this lad into a home of his own but he's passed over every time because of his age. He's 8, but as fit and healthy as a youngfella! He's got plenty of life left in him yet! There's a thread about him here: Kaizer (in fact there's a thread about him on pretty much every Irish forum!!!) He was surrendered to me along with a Golden Retriever girl of the same age, they had been together since they were 8 weeks old. She was adopted quickly after her neuter stitches were taken out, but poor Kaizer is still waiting.... I had lots of calls about him but when they found out his age they lost interest. One caller wanted him as a guard dog, and another caller's garden wasn't enclosed...so he still waits. He's got such a lovely personality, he's quite calm but still fun loving- he'll fetch a stick and play with other dogs. He and my own GSD (bitch, 12 months) didn't get along- it was a 2 way street, neither of them was to blame, they just didn't click. He was great with my other dogs (male, 3 yrs) but a little dominant with the smaller dogs. His recall is excellent, he's great on the lead, house trained and obedience trained and neutered, he's due a booster shot which I haven't been able to sort out just yet. He is fantastic with all people including children... He's in fostercare with a breeder I know in a spare kennel run and I really want to see him indoors with a new family before the weather gets colder. Please, please can you put the word out about him?...maybe someone you know will open their hearts to Kaizer... I would be eternally grateful if you help me place Kaizer in a loving home either here in Ireland or in the UK. Thank you, I have my fingers crossed... Shirley Homeward Bound |

He can come here. I'll take him. I have an approved home with a newly retired couple wanting a shepherd, since theirs died recently! (subject to them liking him and vice-versa) Call me. He is welcome here, even if they don't want him. We'll find him a home. Pat x |

Good on you, "Jennysmum". I was going to take my Steffi up to meet Kaizer, but she can be a bit stroppy .I want more sheps, persuading her to "be nice" is the problem. Some dogs she great with, others so so! |

Well done Pat, thank you for offering this lovely boy a space. If I hadn't recently got the lovely Zoro from John then I would have taken him for my Elsa, the minx. Bev |
