http://www.vigilgsdrescue.org.uk/dog?ref=20090295 Sheba looks very much like a teddy bear. Beautiful long hair dog. She is said not to be good with other dogs while on the lead. We will see! Apparently she loves treats and would obey to you much more if you have some. She recently came into rescue and is being assessed. Will update when we know more |

![]() Sheba is currently in foster with us. She is adorable, but one big matted mess, her matts are so bad on the backs of her legs, tummy, tail and behind her ears, ranging from the sizes of a pea to a tennis ball. The worse is the back of her ear which is the size of a golf ball. We have managed to cut some of it away but the rest is just to close to her skin. The half we have managed to release was hiding a nasty sore. ![]() The above picture is behind her ear, the bottom right is the matt and the middle is her bare skin, and what the flash didnt allow to see is the sore. So this week she is of to the poodle palour for a clip and bath. ![]() ![]() She does have some issues on the lead, but an not sure yet whether this is excitment or agression. She is very food motivated, but needs to learn she can not lick my daugthers lolly at the same time as her! We tested her re-call in a secure setting and it was 100% spot on. She has had good training in the past, and has obviously been loved once. Will keep updating. |

Poor Sheba has Kennel Cough, When she was returned to Vigil after a very short stay in a new home, the owner said he thought she had a respiritory problem. After getting her home on Saturday it was obvious something was not right with her breathing. So we took her to the vets today and she has a bad case of kennel cough. So she will be staying put for the time being. |

A quick update - Angel is certainly living up to her 'name'. A very quick learner, willing & eager to please, adores affection & has adapted well to our 'rules & routine'. Brandy & Angel get on so well it's as though they have always been together! Angel has been a godsend in helping me with Brandy & strangers coming into his home This was an ongoing delicate area that had to be handled with extreme care!!!!! He now views Angel greeting 'strangers' with & affection & wants some of it for himself! Brandy is showing Angel the ropes too as he has come a very long way in just 10mths - walking to heel, retrieving, recall, manners, other dogs & horses, grooming & the list is so long! as they both walk to heel with no tension on the lead Andy has started to walk them out by himself!! We both love & adore our new family & are so grateful to Tony & Jenna for giving us the oppertuinity to home this beautiful 'Angel' XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
