![]() Meet Tara; she is a seven-year-old German Shepherd speyed female who has been with us since May 2009, after she was found straying with another dog, who has since been re-homed. Tara is a good-natured, affectionate, happy lass, who loves plenty of fuss and cuddles and always welcome you as a long-lost friend. Although she is excitable and will initially jump up and down in excitement when she first meets you and will bark when you approach her kennel, Tara soon settles down and just wants to be loved. Tara has slightly ‘wobbly’ rear legs so prefers gentle shorter walks than in the past. She is fairly strong on a lead and pulls less when on a harness. Tara enjoys the company of other dogs and should bond well with others in the house. Since she was found as a stray, we are not sure if Tara is either used to, or if she behaves well with cats. Since Tara is sometimes a little over-enthusiastic for affection, we suggest any children in the household should be aged 10+. Can you offer this adorable girl the loving home she so craves? If you are interested in offering Tara a home please drop into Bath Cats & Dogs Home during our opening hours, Tuesday-Sunday 11am – 4pm with some form of ID with your name and address on it to complete some paperwork. If however, you are not local and would like to discuss anything about Tara please call our helpline on 01225-787321 between 10am – 4pm daily. Tara can be found in C Block with ID number 15895 |
