2 days in rescue can be a long time

Dear John,

Madeline here from Ireland. I have just spoken to you regarding putting our
German Shepherd Max onto your web site.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to do this, even after our telephone call.
Do you think you could possibly post the details of Max for me? I have
attached a photo of him. We are not sure if he is a full German Shepherd,
I'll leave you to decide that one.

He is in boarding at the moment, he has been there 6 weeks and is costing
the charity here a great deal of money that could be used elsewhere in the
rescue of dogs. Listed below is the details the foster has written about
him.

Max is a 4 year old German Shepard, he was surrendered on the insistance of
the owner's wife. He was used as a guard dog, but was allowed to intermingle
with the family (2 children) while muzzled.

Therefore, he is very comfortable w/ wearing a muzzle, and will even put his
nose into it on his own.

We have had him for 6 weeks, we have seen a remarkable improvement in him,
as far as handling and socialization.

He will make a very good companion for a one on one, he easily attaches
himself to one person, all others being secondary.

He is a very dominate dog; wants to be alpha male, even over people, if he
is not reined in.

He is not vicious, he has never attacked anyone...the muzzle is his own
preference.

Many thanks John, I'll give you a phone call tomorrow to see if you've
managed to help me.
