And Amba's mummy too!
This is Lady - Posted Image - sorry the picture isn't brilliant but I'm not very good and she doesn't stay still long enough!
She is very small for a GSD, almost dwarf but what she lacks in size she makes up for in personality. She's such a sweetheart, loves everybody and everything. She's been with us since Friday and I can honestly not say a bad thing about her. love2
She's excellent with other dogs and good with cats although she can get a bit excited but this is easily controlled with voice commands. But most of all she loves people. She does not hesiate to go and say hello but is still very polite and doesn't jump up and I am yet to hear her bark!!!!
At a guess I would say she's about 5 but has the energy of a pup and loves to play. Her basic commands are good and she's VERY food motivated so these could easily be improved.
Although she hasn't met any mobile children since she's been with us she is very good around Amba, my 6 month old, and just generally ignores her - even in her walker.
Overall she's a perfect little girl and would happily fit into any home. :coolgsdbanner

She is currently in foster with me just outside of Croydon.

Lady has been with me for almost a week and I finally got up the courage to let her off..... and she was brilliant! Very Very fast and full of beans but once she settled down her recall was spot on :yay:
Her photos don't do her any justice, she's one of those that you have to see her to fall in love with her, and you can't help but do just that. :glitter_love:

Just thought I should let you all know in case anybody was unduly worried that when Lady was let off the lead she was attached to a long rein and we were in a small enclosed area that is used to keep sheep in so there was no way of escape. I consider myself to be an experienced and capable dog handler (I'm sure Mike would agree) and wouldn't let any dog off the lead unless I was confident that they would return. I'm sure her previous fosterer will agree that she bonds quickly not only with people but also with other dogs so I had absolutely no worries about her not returning to me or staying with my dogs, which she did.
I am aware of Lady's past escapades so the decision to try her off lead was not one made lightly and she is only let off in such enclosed areas. And as she has come home with me on each occasion I think my decision to trust her speaks for itself.

Lady is still looking for her forever home. love2

I would be very suprised if anyone doubted your decision to let of the lead, you know what you are doing, so dont feel you need to justifiy yourself to others.
Keep up the good work you big FF! :funny face: :thumbs up:

I have a 6 month old girl and she is brillinant, very gentle round her and not fazed at all when she gets run over by her walker  She has met several of my friends older children and again, is very gentle with them.
I walk them past a primary school around the time the kids are coming out (and there are LOADS of them) and she is not at all worried and completely relaxed.

Overall she's wonderful! :smitten:

Also, as I put on another topic, on Friday a little boy pulled her tail as he passed and she didn't react at all. Little sod!!!!!

Lady went on her first biggsd walk today and loved it! She didn't even bat an eyelid at all of the bigger dogs running around her and was just so eager to meet everyone.
Lady is still looking for her forever home and will definately make some lucky person or family very happy and proud. :minigsd paw:

Met Lady today, what a lovely girl she is, at the car park she sat quietly with Carolanne & family waiting for the off while the others were getting excited & telling the world we were about to go for a walk.
