hi every i have a 6 year old gsd that needs a loving home we cant have him any more due to new born baby he is great with children and love to play my other 2 children are age 6/7 and he love to play with them its just that my partner does not like the dogs hairs getting everywhere they are even getting in the pram so sadly i have to let jake the dog go to a nice home i hope any 1 can help please email me or phone 01179079834 ask for paul thank you

Sorry to hear that - cant you rehome your other half instead !!!! only kidding

Can you try and post some photos on here as this would help and any other information you can think of - ie does he travel well, what is he like on the lead, how obedient is he, likes dislikes and we will do our best to help you find him a lovely home

Things like;

Where are you located?

Is he castrated?

Vaccinations, worming etc up to date?

Good with other dogs, cats?

Is he good to be left on his own? If so for how long?

and as Briony has said pictures definately help.

hi sorry all yes he likes other dogs and he plays with next doors cats even wen they hiss at him his inoculations are up to date and he does not like the lead at but i have been told old dogs can learn new tricks im in the bristol area please feel free to email me or call if you have any questions as im hardly on the pc due to my daughter on that msn chat thing lol thank you all again.......

please keep us updated on Jake's search for a new home, also is this the only site you have put the details onto as there are a few other such as rescue helpers unite that may be worth puttin the ad on

hi helen he great when i was working i used to leave him from 7:30 am until about 6:30 pm he was ok he does not chew anything of mess in the house he just used to sit by the front door waiting for my return ( or the post man lol ) i hope that helps cheers Paul

He's a lovely looking boy, have you considered putting some stairgates up so you can keep a couple of the rooms hair free? It just seems such a shame to part with him, especially if he's good with kids. He would be a super companion for them growing up.
