Family want to give up the dog because it's too big!~~ Ty is now at Freshfields Wales. Edited Nov 09: link removed. He is a 12 month old GSD x Kelpie (and not Collie as initially stated), apparently vaccinated, and neutering will be arranged. Apparently he is used to older children, dogs and cats (but see below on the latter). Lesley has described him as 'an amiable youngster but in dire need of training'! http://www.freshfieldsrescue.org.uk/index.php/animals/detail/ty/ Ty is a young dog who needs someone with time to train him, someone who enjoys exercising a young lively dog. Although he is good with other dogs and children and supposedly with cats (though I am unsure of this latter) a home where he is either the only dog or with another youngster might be the answer. He would suit best an adult family who are active. He is a medium size, more Kelpie size than GSD.
