Here are pictures of Jenny - without a doubt the worst matted dog I have ever seen!! Despite this she has a lovely nature and is very biddable and will sit on command and go into her kennel when told. She is very sweet and gentle and gives lots of kisses. I suspect that she may have to be shaved - she is that bad. She will at least need several trips to the groomers. We desperately need a rescue space for this girl.

The dog groomer tried everything to save Jennys coat.....but she really was so badly matted so it had to come off!! Here is Jenny in the nude!!

She must be so much more comfortable now and Michelle has a nice jacket for her to wear until her coat grows back!

Posh enough for a Merc E class
She doesn't look too worried to have lost all that matted fur.

With all the warm weather she must have been glad to get rid of all that matted fur, poor girl. She'll be quite stunning once her fur grows back and gets regular grooming. It's a strange thing but I love grooming my two. I find it a relaxing, de-stressing thing to do.

Owning one German Shepherd is happiness. Owning two is sheer bliss.

She looks like she's in good shape and once her fur grows back she'll be stunning - such a sweet looking girlie!

As for grooming being relaxing .... I need to put Kiya on a short lead and it's like a 'lunging' session (in the horse sense) as she runs around me in circles to avoid the brush. The annoying thing is that it doesn't matter how much I brush out, there is ALWAYS more coming off her less than an hour later!

Good luck for this beautiful girl and thanks to all involved for helping her!

As Anita says, she looks good under all that coat. So pleased nothing sinister was found - her skin looks pretty clear. :D
