I will survive until tea Who’s next I heard them say, “Well the Aikita cross only has another day.” A sigh of relief as I know its not me, Aikita cross – well that just can’t be, For my legs are too short and my head to big A German Shepherd perhaps – yep, that’s me I will survive until tea. Next morning they come and give me a treat The lady is kind but is starting to weep What is the problem I want to say It’s not my turn you know, not today Come lets play and tomorrow lets plan For an Aikita cross is not what I am I will survive until tea. You won’t survive until tea she implied Your time is up - not me, I cried For I’m not an Aikita, anyone can see It must be a mistake, a German Shepherd, that’s me Maybe a collie, a staffie, any one will do But not an Aikita, that’s simply not true I will survive until tea. Southern Counties are coming today To pick up the Akita X, and take him away Oh what a lucky dog is he To be out of the kennels and running free So what if my legs are too short and my head to big Now I think of it, Akita X - well yes that’s definitely me! I will survive until tea.    Actually we don't know what type of cross Bobby is, we just know he was due to be pts - a dog with no name and no home. The pound told us he was a GSD/Aikita X - doesn't look much like it to me - anyone have any ideas? He is currently in kennels and appears to be a friendly boy although does react to the other dogs.
