Max is a male GSD. He currently has a very bad ear and we are trying to raise funds to cover his vet treatment. You can see more details on our Special Appeals page of our website - www.homes4dogs.co.uk Please also see more details in one off appeals' on this site.

Poor Max is in a lot of pain at the moment yet he is a friendly dog. He will need an experienced owner.

For more information please call Ros on 07849 637862

Max has now had his operation – his ear canal was completely removed so, although he still has an ear flap, there is no hole. Once the fur grows back you won’t know the difference although he can’t hear in that ear. He is feeling much better already, we’re sure

We are now waiting for test results as Max may have a tumour (please see thread in 'one - off appeals'. Once we know the outcome we will be looking for a home for Max as quickly as we can as we would like him settled. Ros thinks Max could become very attached to a new owner once he trusts them. He will need a GSD experienced home, ideally in the Peterborough area, although Ros will consider other locations if it is the right home for Max.

Hi Karen

The particular test Max has had means that there are several weeks before the results will be available. I don't think it will be too long now and I am crossing everything that it will be good news for Max.

Great news about Max's tests - they are all clear! Max is still receiving lots of TLC in his foster home. He has a few problems with his other ear unfortunately but nothing as serious as previously. Poor boy is desperate to be settled in a forever home.
