Hi all, First of all sorry to anyone who has checked in looking for information on the dogs needing re-homed but we needed the weekend to get all our foster care homes and transport in place then we would know better what next steps needed to be taken. Some of these dogs will have medical issues and some may even be in pup, so we are not rushing them out to new homes until we know more about each dog. That's why our foster carers are so important. The good news is that 5 dogs have been given a clean bill of health. One has a problem with one of her back legs and that is being looked into. Others only reached their foster homes over the weekend and are going to visit the vet later in the week. As none of them had any worrying symptoms we decided that it was best if the foster carers took them to their own vets so that any treatment could be followed through. We only have one wee soul left in need of a home of foster home and that's Pearl. She's the only one that doesn't get on with other dogs. If any one can help please get in touch through our website. Two of our dogs have new forever homes and they are all surprising us with their lovely temperaments. For all they have been through the are very loving. We had more donations made over the weekend, and it is great being able to meet the vet fees. A great big thank you to all who have donated. |
