GSD Puppy Posts: 35 Group: Members Member #3,453 Joined: 23 June 2009 Postcode: ML8 4LP	Everyone at German Shepherd Rescue Scotland would like to say a huge thank you to all the GSD breeders and GSD lovers who have rallied to support us over the last few days. When people found out we had been given 10 dogs who had lived in terrible conditions all of their lives they were so appalled that they sent on the story to all of their friends asking for donations to help with vet fees. The response has been heart warming. We have raised over Ł1,000 in the space of 3 days. This includes a substantial donation from BIGGSD, for which we are very grateful. We have since been given another 3 of this man's dogs to find homes for. Thirteen dogs that will now get loving homes and get to sleep in a bed for the first time in their lives. The good news is that 5 of them are in new or foster homes already. I would like to say a personal thank you to Sheena McCarvel and David Payne. Without Sheena's help word would not have got round about the plight of these dogs. Without David we would never had been able to bring it to the attention of so many people and would not have raised so much money. Many thanks to you both. Deleted User	Welcome Gillian. The fund is there to help GSDs in need, and these 13 are definately in need. So from all of us at BIGGSD, you are very welcome to the donation, and hope that the site can help you further in getting a home or two. Look forward to seeing the dogs posted up.
