Can anyone help. We have a 10 year old black short hair male who is booked in to be put to sleep tomorrow morning. He is currently living with children and several other dogs. Can anyone offer him a foster home, even if it is only short term. |

Doubt he has ever been to a vet before - from some travellers who have had to get rid of some of their dogs - he is 10 years old, has a suspected flea allergy (hair loss) on back - we are trying to buy some time until Wednesday to try and get him a foster home at least. He has apparently 'bitten' the owner twice recently - not badly and not sure of the circumstances but it is a mad household - many cats, dogs and children everywhere - we think he deserves a chance! |

We have one waiting to go out pending a homecheck, perhaps we will have a space by next weekend, I cant promise and it will only be a box outdoors so not the place next winter for an older boy. A foster home would be so much better so if someone will foster him please then I will offer a backup kennel spot from next Sunday. If the foster home goes wrong they can bring him straight here at any time. I dont want to take him in, just emergency backup and veterinary treatment if needed. |
